Thanks for that KH77, it's quite hard to make out what's happening in the secret ending but you've cleared it up. However, you didn't mention why you call the Roxas-Knight, Roxas-Knight. Why do you?

That will be because as this is the past (As long as what I see is right), long before KH1, it will mean that Roxas was not born yet. Sora became heartless in KH1, which was when he was actually born...So technically, the Roxas-looking guy just can't be Roxas. That's why I call him a Roxas Knight, because he's a knight who looks like Roxas, but is not Roxas.

I beleive that this is the past.
I think that Mickey was apprentice to Yen Sid ages ago, thus he was using the similar keyblade attained by Yen Sid.
And I think that KH77's evaluation is just epic.

Tetsuya Nomura insists his next game won't be Kingdom Hearts III, but a whole new series.

However, the new title is expected to share similarities with the outrageously popular JRPG-meets-Disney series, though the decorated producer was shy on exactly how it would.

"First, it's not Kingdom Hearts III," Nomura told Dengeki PlayStation. "Of course, because we're calling it a 'new' series, it won't be KHIII. Also, it's a series, so it probably won't be just one title."

His comments follow news from late last year that saw him warn gamers to expect announcements on multiple Kingdom Hearts-related products in 2007. While there's still no word on exactly what this new series will be, it looks certain to be the next-generation offering we were after.

Square Enix is expected to make a full announcement sometime this year, and was unavailable for comment at the time of writing.

US, April 2, 2007 - With Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix + Re: Chain of Memories at last out in Japan, Tetsuya Nomura and crew can now devote all their energy to their next project. And that appears to be another Kingdom Hearts game, or at least another tie-up with Disney. But is it Kingdom Hearts III?

Speaking with Japan's Gemaga and Dengeki PlayStation publications, Nomura gave a few hints on the new project, which he's previously hinted would see formal announcement later this year.

Gemaga asked if the characters who appear in the new CG "secret movie" that has been added to Final Mix are from the new title. "They are people who have some relation to the new series," said the producer. "However the next title won't just be Kingdom Hearts III. If it were III, we wouldn't call it a new series."

Asked if Sora and Riku would make an appearance in the new game, he said with a laugh, "I can't say." He also hinted that the new game would have something to do with Xehanort, the main villain of the Kingdom Hearts series.

He was just as direct when Dengeki PlayStation asked for some details on the new title. "First, it's not Kingdom Hearts III. Of course, because we're calling it a 'new' series, it won't be KHIII. Also, it's a series, so it probably won't be just one title."

Nomura once again promised an announcement of the new game, whatever it may be, some time this year. In the meanwhile, he suggested that players attempt to unlock the Final Mix secret movie and start imagining.

So it seems that we might have a completely different KH than what were expecting.

Yeah...to be honest, when I watched the edited Secret Ending, I thought 'this is just a completely different thing'. The three knights looked very important, almost like the main characters to the specific game it forecasts.

I think Nomura is determined to expand the story of KH in a very wide range. The secret ending made the keyblade look so much more important than it first did when we saw it in KHI...So this could mean, we'll have about three games from now on from this "new series", and after about ten years we'll actually get back to Kingdom Hearts III. Almost like Nomura wants us to think each game related to Kingdom Hearts is a jigsaw piece, leading as to a final piece which is the key to it becoming complete.

I don't mind as long as I live long enough to see all the jigsaw pieces join together.

And so it seems most games have turned to this direction, where two or three games are created and then another is based in the past before all the games. Just like Devil May Cry 3 & MGS: Snake Eater.

theres one thing i dont get...now, in the KH2 secret ending...it was made to look like the past, no? and, in the FM+ ending, it looks like the distant future to me, becuasr that guy looks like Xaehanort's heartless in his far later years...also, just a spoof, but if you pay attenition in both secret endings, you can see Fenrir among the keyblades

Well, at the end of Riku's story in CoM, DiZ talks to Riku about the roads to Light and Dark, and as he does, the camera focuses on two different roads opposite each other. Then, Riku says that he'll take the Road to Dawn. Well, since Light and Dark roads were opposite each other then maybe the road that Riku came from is the Road to Dusk, and it leads to Castle Oblivian. One other note, the heap of armor that Xemnas is talking to is the armor of the female chaser.
