I'd prefer Aladdin or Auron instead of Goofy, but he's helped quite a bit during my first play through.

Goofy does one thing. Waste Donald's Magic. Valor form wasnt needed for me, only wisdom. If you pitted Goofy and Donald against eachother donald would come out the victor. I mean think what goofy did in KH1 he saved sora so what? think what he has done compared to donald, in Battle NOTHING! so i think its safe to say goofy is not needed and could be replaced by anyone

So your saying Goofy is useless because he recovers alot of Mp.
 Donald wastes Magic in the orginal from the very beginning w/o Goofy's help. Casting Graviga on a boss? Screw you. No wonder you thought Goofy sucked. You made him use his bad offensive techniques and neglected a Mp Gift only Goofy... An Mp Gift only Goofy saves three times the Mp as you would when using an Ether/Elixir on yourself. Only thing is that with the bad techs in his way he'll just spam those and not Mp Gift. Another thing is that the guest members don't really have a better Limit compared to Goofy, so I don't see any real reason to replace Goofy in terms of sheer power. I think goofy is useful, and not only because his limit, also because his tornado attack gives you a chance to attack the enemies, but with bosses he is... cannon meat

wheni had to switch party members donald always got the boot all he does is use curaga on me when my health is low in a tight situation goofy smacks and kills every heartless in his way.

In my opinion, Goofy was really needed. Only Goofy and Sora did anything. Donald would use and attack or two then die. I don't give a rat's arse if he can heal people or use lame magic, he isn't that great. I never used Donald. I always switch him out with another char. (Riku, Tron, Simba, etc.)
But I think it works differently for everybody. Donald didn't help me whatsoever. But for some other peeps he did. I guess it just depends on how you play the game. I still like Donald, but definately not as a fighting char. I never used any of their limits, I always thought they were a waste of time. I only used them when there were alot of enemies around or a boss battle. So I can't say who's limit is more powerful, Goofy's or Donald's? ------------------- | |

In terms of Limits Goofy is stronger by itself while Donalds are more useful for AoE, invinciblity and stalling the opponent; enabling you to attack you your own combos.

Goofy's limits are absolutely *bleep*ing detrimental. If anything, I found Donald to be more dispensable than him.
