Hi HarvestMoonStar. Welcome to the forum.  I like to ship gems from the Lake Mine in the Winter, since that's the only season you can access the mine, due to the lake freezing over. I usually wake up and tend to my animals, then relax in the hot springs until my energy is replenished. Then I take my empty rucksack, my hoe and my hammer and go into the Lake Mine. The farther you get in the mine, the more precious the jewels you dig up will be. Even if you don't make it really far down, all of the gems there are semi-precious and if you ship whatever you find every day, you're bound to make a nice Winter profit. Don't forget that your animals are a prized source of income during the winter as well, especially if you not only have cows, sheep, and chickens, but a mayonnaise maker, cheese maker and yarn maker as well. Why don't you go fishing It really helps you earn a lot of money but the profit depoends on the level your fishing rod is if you have a mystril fishing rod you can catch large fish easly if you gather 30 from any size of fish you'll gain more than 1000 but the larger the fish the more the profit . small fish : 50 per fish 50 x 30 = 1500 medium fish : 100 per fish 100 x 30 = 3000 large fish : 150 per fish 150 x 30 = 4500 and if you fish in one of the mines you can save time but its harder and you mayt fish a fossil but only if you have a mystril fishing rod . | |

i think you need a mystic fishing rod to fish in the lake mine. i tried to fish with a mystil rod and i didn't catch anything... | |

You can also get alot more animals and take care of them during the winter. Then sell them at the begining of Spring ------------------- The Forgotten | |
