normally,press L2 right when it hits you,but when your thrown and knocked back, hold the stick or pad in the opposite direction of the opponent direction and press circle as fast as you can.

sorry,when your thrown and knocked back hold the pad/stick in the direction of the opponent and keep pressing circle fast.
