I've completed Arcade Mode numerous times WITHOUT continuing, and achieving a time score well under the record times, yet I don't seem to get a name input screen for my high scores table. What's going on? How do I get my name on the Arcade Mode high scores? Do I have my game on the wrong difficulty setting?

I've also fought friends on Arcade Mode AND Versus Mode, defeated them enough times to get on the high score list, and again I don't get a name input screen. HELP!!!

I think the difficulty setting must at least be at Normal...

What's normal? 3? 4?

What do you mean High Score Tables.

you do have the difficulty setting wrong. i know that if you put it on 5 and beat the game in like 16 min, you should get the high score table and unlock Low Speed Battle or something like it in Extras. It doesnt even matter if you do continue, i did and i still got the score table. If you put difficulty to 3 and win at least 15 matches in survival mode you unlock Sudden Death Survival. I dont think it matters whoe you beat those with but in case, I beat Arcade mode with Sheena and Survival with Xion. I just found this out last night so i dont have all the extras and how to get em yet, but i can post whatever else i find out if you want

Figures. I put the difficulty on four, battled my way through arcade mode, and got NOTHING for the Arcade High Score Tables. ONE difficulty level off.

So, with that solved, how about we open up a new discussion on the same topic!

Record your best scores for:

A) Survival Mode
B) Arcade Mode
C) Arcade Mode VS.

And make sure you list which characters you achieved these scores with! NO CHEATING! Honest records only. Thanx!

Here's what I've gotten so far

1. Xion-survival mode-13 rounds-diff. 1-Sudden Death
2. Yugo-survival mode-14 rounds-diff. 1-Knock Down Battle Mode
3. Shina-arcade-14 min.-diff. 5-Low Speed Battle (you have to let the ending credits play and at the end when it says game over it should tell you that you unlocked an extra)

I had more, but I forgot how I got them. I wont know anything else until maybe Sunday or Monday, my friend is borrowing my PS2.

Here's my best score for Survival Mode, which is the only one I can post at the moment seeing as how I'm still working out this whole Arcade Mode high score table thing. I mean, I finished Arcade without continuing on Difficulty level 5, but I never got to put in my high score. Which means that I must have to have the round time limit set on default or something because I've only been using Infinite instead of 60 seconds. GRRRR! Frustration!

SURVIVAL SCORES
Busuzima (The Chameleon) 16 Rounds
Uranus (The Chimera) 15 Rounds
Shina (The Leopard) 14 Rounds

I got all the modes in arcade mode and survial mode.
Here are my high score. Shina (20) stages survial, Shina(16) stages survial, Shina (12) stages survial. All the other modes you can win easly if you rank in arcade. My time sucks in arcade but I was mainly getting my butt kick by Xion and Stun. Gado 9:07 arcade, Shina 9:10, I can't remember the rest but I know that they were sucky!

HA! So I put my game settings on default and finally got a spot in the Arcade Mode rankings!!!

URANUS (The Chimera) Around Seven Minutes

That's good! Better than what I can do. What character did you use? I need to bet my brother's score. He got 8:13 with that fast girl. Not Alice, nor the half-beast. That secert girl.

That's the one I used, Uranus (The Chimera). She's the 'secret cat girl'. So far she's the only character I've been able to readily defeat Arcade Mode with on the default settings.

Now, this is slightly off topic, but this is something interesting to note about Uranus. In Greek Mythology, the "Chimera" or "Chimaera" was portrayed as a creature having the head and body of a lion, either a goat's head protruding from its back or the hind legs of a goat, the wings of a bird and a serpent for a tail. Uranus looks NOTHING like a Chimera in Beast Mode. She actually looks more like a Minotaur, which was a Greek creature that was half bull and half human. Weird.

Yeah that is weird. Thanks for telling me what character I should use. Now heres the character I was using. It was Shina or Gado. I came sooooo close on beating my brothers time with Shina, but Xion kick my butt. Nooooooooo!!

I prefer to use all the female characters, the best being Uranus, Jenny and Shina. My cousin actually likes using Gado when he plays. We're currently locked into constant competition to hold first place on Survival Mode. He recently topped my score of 16 with Busuzima and got 17 with Gado. Now I have to work to beat THAT, hopefully with Uranus or Shina. Damn those boys. LOL.
