Upon quick glance of your work, it seems you have alot of the basic functions of gimp figured out and are ready to really start learning the art of creating signatures (and hopefully later on) larger pieces and wallpapers Alot of good gimp tutorials can be found here: GimpTalk You can find Pre-cut pictures/characters etc here: They come with a transparent background. PlanetRenders GameRenders Custom Brushes can be downloaded over at DeviantArt: Just search Gimp Brushes (Photoshop brushes will not work) Google to see how to install them. 	Ok. I'm going to start working on a new peice and post it soon. =3 Edit: I messed up on the few steps of a tut then played around on my own and go this.. 	I just finished a request I'm going to put up. I'll edit post when photobucket decieds to work with me.. As a request I keep the BG she gave me but took some brushes and new layer and messed with it. Changed of the brush layers opacity types and got this. Copied her avvy from the BG. Text isn't that good but I did as her request. There wasn't many ways for the text to be readable and all there.. This message was edited by Aurora Angel on Feb 23 2008. 	I like your new banner/avvy combo, but make their backgrounds smoother. Possibly try motion blurring them?

	Hi! Thanks for the comment Adam. I tried. Horrible outcome. I think Nightmare_Angel (Punk_Anime_Girl) likes it though. On another topic, I'm starting to work on my animation random objects in GIMP. I'm also messing with lighting effects to give more charactor to the peice. Another thing will be abstract when I have time. Anyone have a tutorial they have had good results on? I'm still exploring GIMP, so please remeber that.

	I know I already gave you this tut before, but I feel it should be mentioned here, too. If you want a semi-easy tut with good results, then use this Gimptalk tut. If you want an easier tut, but with rougher results, then I'd suggest The Apollo's tut here. (At least, I think it's easier. =/ Also, you can skip the tech brush part.)

	Your work has good quality. Especially your latest two. It makes it cleaner and nicer to look at. I'd recommend you don't blend your focals in like that (lowering the transparencies), but rather use smudging and other effects, in order to keep the overall look of your focals. The backgrounds are decent and the text as well. Keep it up! ^^ Dafont I really recommend you to visit this site. It's got loads of fonts that'll really help you. My advice is, try to choose simple, but good looking fonts and try to avoid the extremely complicated ones that you can't even read what's in it, and wouldn't look good in a signature or any other piece. =) This message was edited by The Answer on Mar 07 2008.
