When I next make something in Photoshop/GIMP.

I tend not to make things on weekends as I'm with my girlfriend most of the time. So probably sometime on Monday/Tuesday.

Man I really like how you progressed from that really bad Bahamut banner to that kickass Shellshock banner in like 2 years.

Pretty sweet. Can't wait for the next update.

Haha, yeah that Bahamut banner seriously sucked.

It feels a lot longer than 2 years anyway.

Finally got around to making something which is decent enough to post here (everything else sucked so much -_-), going to enter it for the SOTW default theme.



Firstly I used the custom shape tool to make the Sun, then I made a selection out of that and did a gradient from white to yellow. I then rendered some clouds below, added some lighting effects on soft light, made my own brushes with the default ones (if that makes any sense xD). Brushed and also used some custom shapes to add detail to the background. Used a few filters, brushed a bit more, few more filters. Lots of lighting and clone stamping to get rid of ugly parts. Text and colouring. Then used brushing a bit more and sponge tool and dodged and burned, finally border.

Much better than mine due to the lightning.
