Those banners are pretty awesome, even if you are rusty. My favorites are Bleach, and Air DJ.

Random C&C:

I don't really like saying stuff like this because I feel like a noob when I do, but the border on the last one is seriously thick. It would be cool if it was regular widescreen size imo. Some people may like it better how it is though.

I have been busy working, playing on the PS2 and busy with my own site which I got progressively bored with.

You have some great banners in your new or at least newly posted work. I really like the effects you used in the 2nd banner and the colors that you have going in the ichigo banner.

I agree that on that last banner the border kinds of ruins it. The border is taking my attention away from the rest of the banner/

I'll get to the point - Your typography sucks, and that matters.

From what I can see, your most common style of text looks embossed, or carries a drop-shadow, I'm not sure. What I am sure about is that it doesn't do anything for the aesthetics of your graphics. It's such a shame that your typ. is dragging down your work (which I generally like).

Work on it, it's easy, just play around with text more, develop techniques that make your text part of the image, and not stand-alone letters that take away more than they add. Typography is an artform in itself, creating typographic art, such as splatterplatter's G&A header contest entry really helps.

Meh not made anything in a long time:

It's a bit basic so its hard to critique it accurately without seeing the stock. Aside from that I like the lighting alot. Not much else to say though... other than... welcome back?

Yeah, I'm just saying it's the same layout so it's more then inspired, it's his own version.
