If you remove/lesson the texture on the guys face it would be much better in my opinion. Otherwise I really like it. The text is something different and it's a nice touch.

I agree with Guugley with the texture on his face, as well as the text =]
But I dont really like how where you have the smudging, it follows his outline.. It seems to throw out the messiness of the smudge.. | |

But I think it would look even better if you could give the border and text the same texture that the big orange line in the middle has. But it looks good how it is anyways, definitely an improvement on the original | |
