On the render versions, try blending in your stock a little bit. It makes a huge difference once you practice.

I looked at that piece for 10 seconds, and it was kind of heard to make out what the stock was. I would remove the burn off of the stock and center. Then try to blend it in a different way. The text would be nice if it was thicker and in a corner maybe, and maybe some neat tricks to make it look cool too. Not bad though, I like the colour flow.
