	The last 2 are good and your graphics are improving but i like the zelda ones a lot more because theres more detail. You should experiement with the renders more and try some filters for the backgrounds on the clouds.

	By Far, The Simplist Banner I Made, I Just Used a Paintbrush type Brush, PLayed with a ton of layers and modes, and Brushed on a new transparent layer with a light brown and got the brown effect. =)

	The simplicity in the Smeargle banner works. The Link one, not so much. You might've done more there, but all I can see is motion-blurred stock duplicates for the background.

	You could start with one of the GIMP tuts here and then add stuff of your own. Or you can play around with the filters and see what they do. If it looks good, leave it. If not, erase the layer . The Script-Fu options are quite cool to try out, too, by the way.

	I can say that both are equal. The 1st one has less color but you can notice Yuki more, and the 2nd one has more color, but you can't see much of her. I you over blended her a bit too much. Try no to do that. Yuki looks weirdly cut, btw. You left some white part on the crop. Overall work on it more. I like your Anime forum header a lot. The colors are nice, and all, but like boganking said, you should have made the text a bit less noticeable that the stock, as she doesn't attract so much attention.
