then why is it called international? that doesnt make any sense

I know and it sucks that the best things are Japan-only... There is a chance to see last missions in english??

No, there won't be an english version. It's called FFX-2 International because all of the voice acting (except for the "Last Mission" part) is english and the writing is all in Japanese.

Truth sucks...but hey! It's worth buying for the extra stuff.

It is - I'm playin' it now and I feeel so sorry for people who don't get the chance to play this version

why can't square just put everything in ONE version instead of making a seperate version with all the extras that's japan-only with japanese writing?

I know - it's annoying ARGH! BUT the way it worked out was like this:
FIRST they released it in japan. When they release it in N. America, they make updates like having it in english and english text, along with some game fixes and add-ons that the japanese version didn't originally have (plus different FMVs for FFX-2).

THEN, knowing how Japan thinks english is a "cool thing", they re-release the game there, renamed it as INTERNATIONAL [the english language!] and this is kinda a big deal for them for most of them likes english and thinks it's cool (I think so too in japanese). But the subtitles and stuff are left japanese so that the japanese can easily flow through the game and understand what the INTERNATIONAL language has to say.

But then this is the part where it rages N. Americans and Europeans AND Austrailians so much...on the INTERNATIONAL re-releases, they have EVEN MORE ADD-ONS that made the gameplay a whole lot more fun and interesting along with some fixes. FFX-2 - ESPECIALLY - got the loads of add-ons that WE DON'T GET!!

What they should've done is when they re-release these games in N. America as GREATEST HITS, they should've added the extras that we didnt get from their so-called INTERNATIONAL version...that would've been a smart move if they realized it from before there's nothing to lose when you re-release it at a bargain price and anyone interested would heck, buy it! - some games do do that - re-release as GREATEST HITS, having more extras..I'm tryin' to tell SQUARE that but it's too late...I dunno what alternatives there would be...even through a petition that I made - ugh it's hard work..nor is it workin'...

why can't they release the same version of the game everywhere? i see no reason why they can't release international+last mission in the US as well and make it so that the user can pick the voice/menu/subtitle language. the "international" version should REALLY be international instead of japan-only.

they should have just put in the game a "language selection" lol would have been so much simpler lol I'm still gonna get it even though I won't be able to understand the text lol it'll be fun!
