Mystery of the Skill Trainer

Has anyone wondered who exactly the Skill Trainer is? I know, just because someone calls you "...son" doesn't mean he's your father. The guy could be the good ol' Hero of Time...who knows? Post your opinions here.

i think you might be in the wrong forum, there is no "skill trainer" in LOZ. Pokemon maybe?

re: Mystery of the Skill Trainer

Well, in the Ocarina of Time manga it showed his parents. And in Wind Waker it mentioned the "Hero of Winds". So maybe...maybe.

The manga is a comic. A book. Something you read.

Rumor has it that the "Skill Trainer" is the Hero of Time.

But who knows.

It can't be the hero of time, because he never talked .

I'm sticking to the theory that he is link's father.

re: Mystery of the Skill Trainer

Well I think that he very well could be the Hero of Time, because who else would know the moves Great Spin and Finish skills? But if his father was in the war....wait....hold on. What if his father was the Hero of Time? (I doubt that though)

Actually, in Twilight Princess, Link is only referred to as a "Hero" by the people. Proof at 0:30.

re: Mystery of the Skill Trainer

I've played it through a few times now, and after reading what the ghost guy says and various posts on here, I think Link is a descendant of the hero of time, whether it be son or great grandson I don't know...

Well of course he's the descendant of the Hero of Time, but Link ,in this game, isn't the Hero of Time, just a Hero.

That was what my post was for. Response to swords1229.
