Thanks but yeah I was upset to see them faint...I'm not really used to it happening after doing fire red...You feel you've let them down when they run out of Hp or something Ah yup soothe bell will help it out in the friendship front - it's how I got my Golbat to evolve so quickly

I did the fifth gym yesterday I think it was the first time I've ever done it without losing a pokemon - I usually find it the hardest in the game. I did have to resort to using a lot of confuse rays, flinching bites, slack offs and leech seeds but still it worked

Catching and training my new team member wil take quite a while now though so I expect you'll be able to catch up ok

I just beat the fourth gym last night. Hopefuly I can beat the fifth Gym tonight and start to catch up. I got a Pokemon egg, I dont know whats going to hatch (Dont spoil it if you know) lol. I hope its something cool.

I might leave my Swellow behind, or my ninjask. I dont ever use them and little Sam can take care of fighting pokemon with his dark/psychic moves. I dont know yet though.

Good job on the fifth gym, thats awesome that you beat it without losing any pokemon. I hate when Sam faints, I feel worse when its him lol. I think its because hes small and not as tough as the other pokemon.

Anyway, I hope this game stays easy because I cant raise my pokemon very high... I hope you dont need them as high as they were for the elite four in the pokemon fire red.

Nice one Ah yup there's so little to do between the gyms - I expect you'll get there very quickly I expect this'll be your hardest battle yet though...your Marshtomp is only normal effective against these guys making it a bit more tricky Oo the egg, kk cool, I think I remember what hatches but no I won't say - I haven't bothered with my egg this time actually...I know what I want in my team now so don't need to worry new things to catch (except for my last member)

Ah ok, yup I suppose if they never get used then you may as well box them Just remember that it'll be good to have something that can learn Fly for when you get the HM so for now I'd keep Swellow just for that

Thanks! yeah I was really pleased with that - quite lucky in some ways...but I tried a different approach to fighting and it worked Aww yeah you always grow attached to the little things I hated it when my Growlithe fainted on fire red Spinda's quite handy knowing the different typed moves though

I think the highest level opponent in the elite 4 is lvl 58...which is 5 levels lower I believe...so it's a bit easier but not to the extent we need it to be There's gonna be quite a bit of training going on before I can do the pokemon league I think...After you've done the fifth gym, I don't think you should have much trouble until then though

Hey, So I am still at the fifth Gym... I really want Sam to level up a lot durring the JR Trainer battles but he is still to weak to really fight them on his own. So I have been training with him. SO I am still behind... I hope you are not to far ahead of me...

Yea I think I will box Ninjask but keep swellow. I think that will be a good idea.

I dont have anything new going on besides training my little Sam... I dont think I am going to have a fire pokemon this time... I dont like any of them lol.

Lol yeah I know what you mean - all of the good fire types seem to be from the original game except perhaps the newer starters I haven't got one in this game either...I could possibly teach one of mine flamethrower but that's as close to fire as I'll get

I have killed... or um... defeated about half of the trainers in the gym. Sam is growing pretty well and I am getting excited. He knows hypnosis so I love putting them to sleep and just punnishing them lol. I have not really ever used a sleep move before but I like it.

Anyway I am off to bed and to hopefully defeat the rest of the trainers and get the badge. Not sure if I will be able to tonight though.

Unfortunately no - Spinda can't learn any fire attacks (except sunny day but then that's pointless ) It's nice again to see a rarely used pokemon being liked so much though

Ah yup hypnosis is handy - shame about the poor accuracy but it's still very annoying for the opponent Yup then you can just destroy them I'm glad training him there is working well anyway

OK So last night I ended up getting the badge.Yes it was pretty challenging, but I used Sam to put them to sleep and then used Jared to take them out... It was a long hard battle but I won lol.

I cant believe Spinda isnt popular, he is so awesome. he learned dizzy punch, I made him forget uproar. Dont you hate when you are in a bind and have to delete a move, and you are never sure if you did the right thing or not? lol.

Anyway thats all I did, the dad told me to go see the sickly kids parents but I was to tired, so I will play more tonight. I cant wait to see what they want though lol.

It's stats are fairly low compared to most when they've fully evolved due to it not evolving itself, so that's what puts people off I think Dizzy Punch is a fun move Yup you were right to replace uproar with it Yeah I know - some attacks I never want to get rid of...especially for the HM's which is why I'm avoiding most of them in this game

Quick question. Should I replace Jared's water gun with surf? Or replace mud slap? I like mud slap because of the accuracy thing, but mud shot is more powerful. However I rarely use water gun anyway because mud shot seems to be effective to things that water is effective against... I just want to know what you think.

I would replace water gun with it - you'll never use it when you've got Surf

So I did the sunken ship and got the ice beam. Should I teach it to my Marshtomp, and if so which move should I delete in order to make room for it? When does he evolve anyway? He is at level 33 and is still just marshtomp lol. my swellow and electrikes evolved form, cant remember his real name since he is nick named. are only level 27... I hate having them so low lol.
