Oh ok, they help alot competitively. But you don't need to be a fairly decent level. You don't need rare candies you can drop the pokemon in the day care and do it this way. But making movesets is fun i will say, i love havign a hydro pumping Salamence. Some egg moves on some pokemon are pretty interestign and somewhat funny. Like a hydro pumping Salamence and cross chopping Magmar.

I hadn't thought of day care tbh lol. Still that would take quite a while...but yup I can certainly see how they would give an advantage competitively. Ha yup some of the things some pokemon can learn are just completely obscure - it's funny to see things like the hydro pumping salamence. I just really enjoy designing little sets - I haven't actually made many of them but the ideas are there lol

Yeh it does take a while which is solved by plugging the charger into your gameboy then letting it run all night as you let your character walk up and down the sand hill in the desert. But another one is an outragining Charizard and a rock sliding Blaziken. LIke what the hell? How random.

I find the idea of a whirlwinding Snorlax and exploding Gengar to be odd too

Well there are some odd ones. I mean an outraging Tyranitar? Also an uproaring Swampert. Interesting i must say. But i guess it's good, it adds some depth into the game. Though i like in D/P how all pokemon have massive lists for there egg moves. I mean Electabuzz and Magmar are set.

An uproaring Swampert sounds very interesting - Dugtrio can get uproar too apparently...and Manectric...completely random

Yup it is nice having a good load of moves to choose from - gives people more scope to develop their pokemon their own way rather than having to stick with the same moves again and again like in the earlier days. Yup Mabgy + Elekid just learn what they need really - very handy - it's always great to see the huge egg lists

Yeh huge egg lists look good, the group which generally have big lists is the humanshape group. They have a lot of moves, it's cool. Plus the dragon group, they have a fair share of moves to go around.

Personnaly i like to have popular pokemon so keep Charizard. Switch Butterfree with haunter.
Instead of pidgeot use Arcanine(use a fire stone on Growlithe).

I never did the whole mating pokemon thing, is it hard to do? I have never used the day care, I always feel bad dropping my pokemon off and letting someone else raise it lol.

I didnt find any fire pokemon in that cave in the mountain except for numel... Then a bunch of machops... I want to try that fire type you guys were telling me about.

I just captured a pokemon. I think its name is Spinda... Its a cute little bear lol. I named him Sam after Sam Winchester the charecter. I think he is a dark type pokemon since he knows a dark type move but I am not sure. He seems cool though. So I am going to keep him.

Normal mating is very simple really - you just put a male and a female of the same pokemon into day care - wait a while and hey presto - you have an egg Then of course you can complicate it further...certain pokemon can mate with certain other pokemon - e.g your Marshtomp can still 'do it' with pokemon such as Squirtle or Whismur Then to go even further, you can pass moves from one pokemon to another by breeding etc...it all gets quite technical in the end

But simple breeding is easy and you can let them do it anytime

Day Care I only use for the breeding - I'm not a fan of letting others raise my pokemon either

I don't think Torkoal is that rare...hmm yeah Numel are the most common along with Machop and Koffing on your game? or Grimer? one of them - Slugma and Torkoal are both in there...you'll just have to keep looking I suppose

Yup it is difficult in this game Well Jared is still higher than any of my team so he's certainly looking good - Birdo too - I expect Neon's coping better too now with Spark For where you are in the game, you're doing fine

Don't worry about IV's - you just use those for competitive play...I haven't used those before either This game has a very technical side...when you really get into it there are so many things you can do to perfect an ultimate pokemon etc

Ah yup, it'll work as a nice substitute for Teddiursa I suppose It doesn't evolve so may get a bit weak, but then you had Meowth last time so you'll probably have no trouble with it Oh and it's a normal type but yah it knows faint attack I think? so treat it as Meowth basically

I'll be doing the fourth gym fairly soon after some training Once again it's a bad type for me and good type for you lol

What is the theme of the next gym? What level are you going to level up to? I am not sure how high my pokemon should be. I really dont like how this game doesnt let you level up very easily... sigh...

The next gym is fire - great for your Marshtomp again I got mine up to lvl 28 in the end - they were 26/27 when I got to the gym so trained a bit more I beat her ok...but I lost two of my team in the process...poor Breloom had to be sacrificed to ensure that I leech seeded her best pokemon

I hate how you don't level well too...vs seeker is very sorely missed

Hey, sorry I havent posted in a couple days. I am back, I just got off of the mountain with the gang fight... Where is the next Gym? I am at one of those moments where every cave takes me back to a place where i have been before and it just bugs me, I have no clue where to go!

I have trained pretty well. My Neon evolved... That has to be the most Odd pokemon evolution in the series... He goes from reptile to Wolf.... Kind of strange lol.

My little Sam is growing nicely, he learned psy beam and he is about level 19, which is good because I just started raising him. He levels up fairly quickly and he is strong against rock types. He is quickly becomming my fav lol.

My other pokemon are pretty much the Same... Jared is now at level 29 but thats the only other change. I have just been focusing on Neon, and now that he has evolved I am focusing on Sam.

Dont get too far ahead lol. I cant find the next gym! Its upsetting me lol.

Congrats on your gym win though, I am glad you did it without problem.. Well except for your two pokemon

I hate when Pokemon faint, because their friendship points or whatever go down lol. I gave my little Sam a soothe bell so he can be my friend more quickly lol.
