1. Where is the best place to train for Elite Four the second time? I am currently going to Seven Island and using the [VS SEEKER] to rebattle Campers/Hikers.
   
2. Is there any way whatsoever in boosting the chances of seeing/finding shiny Pokemon? I have bred roughly 500 Ponytas and searched for hours at Mt Ember with no luck.
   
3. When does the Johto Dog (Suicune in my case) begin to run around Kanto? Do I have to beat the Elite Four second time?

1. Uh...you could either train with the E4, or I also trained on 7 Island (right in front of that Chansey house).

3. The dog will only run around the map once you have beaten the elite four and obtained your national dex.

Thanks, all. I was just curious that I haven't seen Suicune yet, and I have been actively searching everywhere, and using all the "repel methods".

Damn to the training method. I can't really think of anywhere in particular to find the highest level pokemon, except going into the Pokemon league, but then I lose money each time.

If you mean not the Seven Islands, then yeah. Just the Kanto mainland.

I heard once that Icefall Cave had a higher chance of housing Suicune, due to it's type, but it seems that was a lie.

That is a lie Bullfish, Suicine like all other dogs can only be found on the mainland of Kanto.

@ Shed: that is a good idea, but I already have like... 99 of everything and I don't really want to use them. But I guess I should.

Don't be afriad to use items when your in the E4 but try to avoid using them outside of their at times. Unless your going on an adventure which takes you far from a pokecentre.

I don't know. Throughout every Pokemon game, I've never really been one for items. I always just ran back to Pokemon Centres. Even in gyms, Mt Moon, Rock Tunnel and so forth, I just ran out again and used Pokemon Centres.

Yeh, that's why i'm saying you shoudl carry items for treks like such as when you get through and your pokemon all of a sudden both his low hp then your screwed in a sense.

Yeah, I see what you mean.

It's just, I have never ever had a "oh shit if this Pokémon dies I'm screwed" kind of moment, because my Pokemon are always so strong. That's why this not being able to beat the Elite Four the second time is so strange to me.
