k heres the deal...I just got an eevee...and i want to know if i can evolve it into espeon or umbreon because if i cant im going to keep it the same way as it is

you have have friendship and and if you the dark type be friend with in till night, you want the psyhsis type in the morning, it work like that.

You can't get Espeon or Umbreon by evolution in this game, so no.

Looks like we'll turn to collosseum once again. But Maybe instead of a day/night evolution, it is a random evolution.

Doesn't that mean that we'll never be able to have a properly trained Umbreon or Espeon?

i dunno-I might usea n everstone on my Eevee-If i do evolve it ill probably choose Flareon.

nintendo wouldn't put eevee in the game if you couldn't get all of it's evolutions so it's probably a random evolution.or there is a time and you can know if it's day or night.

serebii.net says that you can get Espeon in FR/LG by evolving Eevee

Also according to Serebii, for FR and LG evolution for Umbreon, it says Evolve Eevee. I'm still not sure how you'll do this, but you will be able to. Maybe after the National Dex.

Well I Have Been Thinking, And In Red Blue And Yellow You Needed Stones TO Evolve Eevee. Then In G/S It Was Wht Time Of Day (Night For Umbreon And Day FOr Espeon) Maybe It Will Be THe Same THing With THe Stones.

Flareon: Fire Stone
Jolteon: Thunderstone
Vaporeon: Waterstone

Espeon: Sun Stone
Umberon: Moonstone

Well, I have evolved my eevee in my Ruby cartridge by friendship into an Espeon. Considering that the eevee in this game would be exactly like the Eevee in FR LG, It's pretty safe to say it's a random evolution, like Wurmple.

It's impossible to get Umbreon/Espeon until after you've gotten the nationaldex, as they're GSC pokemon and can't be obtained before that point. Afterwards, I believe that the games do still have a clock (although no obvious day/night features), so you will still be able to get Umbreons and Espeons.
