when do magikarp evolve? do i need a water stone or do they evolve at a certain level?

Magikarp evolve at level 20 into one of the most aggressive Pokemon of all (with some good moves to boot). Saying what it evolves into could be a *SPOILER* so I can't say.

It only evolves into one pokemon at level 20 not 55. You must be thinking about Dragonite or Tyranitar. They evolve at lvl 55. It evolves into Gyara*** just incas you dont know who it is yet so there is a clue

Are you sure about that level fourty because if you take off the everstone then it will evolve at the next level.

A Pokémon WILL NOT EVOLVE AT ALL when it's holding an EVERSTONE. Once you TAKE the stone back, the Pokémon will evolve at the next level. | |

Yes exaclty what he and i said. not at 40, 55 0r 1000000(exageration) just level 20.
