What was the pokemon you started off with before? Why not use that one again?

Yeah, I agree with the guy above me. Use the same one you started out with before, because after playing that long while, you should've grown accustom to the techniques of the starter you chose.

that happned to my ruby version i bought it second hand and the person before me used gameshark now when i beat the elite 4 my game gets deleted

Yes, I buy all my games first-hand and never buy second-hand games unless I can trust the retailer-only official console shops and Electronics Boutique. I suggest nobody buys there their game from Bali, Stalls, unoriginal retailers (such as second-hand shops) or Wal-Mart. Only trust a brand or official retailer which isn't selling second-hand as the previous buyer/s, user/s or player/s may have glitched, screwed up or GameSharked and used a cheat device on it.

i bougt mine in toys are us.i think there only in new york so if you dont know about it then dont comment.they have nice stuff an games.

No, when I looked up at Wal-Mart the price of Fire Red was 35 dollars. The original retail price is around 1000 yen, 69 australian dollars or 45 american dollars. They also sell Game Shark, which is not trusted here on Neo, by many players.

Wal-mart is a firsthand retailer and does NOT sell any second hand games. Their slogan is "Always Low Prices" which means they try to sell things, such as games, as low as they can.
