Absolutely correct. The reason why the price of Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green were a little higher is because of the Wireless Adapter that came with it. This added weight to the packaging that the games were shipped in, which led to the increase in price. Long story short, the heavier a package is, the greater the cost of shipping.

But if the shipping cost more, then why did the game cost less? In rare cases do you get a glitched game, yet I just don't trust Wal-Mart at all.

All of Wal-marts games come directly from the manufactuer and then put up on display for sale... these games are the same as they would be in any other game store. The reason they sell them for less, as I said before, is because of their slogan "Always Low Prices," meaning that they sell things as cheap as they can legally so more people will come to them and they get more money from the sales.

Yar har! Sander has the right idea, too bad you guys didn't listen to him on the last page.
Anyway, I noticed somebody a bit ago stating that the US sold the games at $45. And, I have YET to see the FR/LG games being sold for that much. The most I've seen the games go for is $35. Don't know where you got your prices. -------------------

I guess that when it comes to where you get your video games, the cost isn't the only factor. Sometimes it comes down to personal preference, which is okay as long as it doesn't get ugly, which is when I choose to not get involved.

Well, at EBGames, they seel their games for $69.50 Australian dollars. US currency is about twice so I suggest games that are 34.75/35 dollars and aboves are not fakes.

Back from camp already? Mah..I'm in the dark on Japanese currency-dunno anything about it. So really, it comes down to where you buy it from. If megaprotoman's game is glitched, he must have a rare case or just be unlucky.

You're from Australia too...go to the Ausralisian Forum in my banner.
Anyway, back on track, Target usually has cheap sales so...$59.95 is a great price. ------------------- I wish my homework was asexual so it would do itself. | |
