You can't evolve them in FireRed and LeafGreen, you can only evolve them in R/S/E. To get Umbreon, you have to have friendship with the Eevee and must evolve during the night. Espeon is the same thing except, you have to evolve the Eevee during the day. ------------------- | |

Not exactly the day and night. They have specific times to be precise. But it's only in emerald i think. I'm certain that they can't be evolved into Umbreon/Espeon in R/S. | |

Yeh, the day and night function is in R/S/E but it doesn't show the time of day with light/dark. | |
