There really is no "best" starter. Squirtle and especially Bulbasaur are really good in the beginning, but aren't very much help after that. Charmander is the hardest to raise IMO but it's worth it, and I think Charizard is the most favored evolution of the 3. -------------------  Slayer>Zombie | |

Fire monsters sound coolest. But I think that water-based pokemon are the best. Maybe I should o what Sabrina did to the Dojo and Kick out Misty's right as Gym Leader. Bulbasaur, in my opinion, is easiest to train in the beginning. The first two gyms will be easy if you have Bulbasaur. Charmander, on the other hand, is harder in the beginning, but it's well worth it when you evolve it into a Charizard. Squirtle is kind of in the middle of those two, it's pretty easy to train in the beginning but can be very helpful when you level it up towards the end and whatnot. ------------------- | |

Blulbasaur is very easy for beginners. When you start again, I recommend Squirtle. For advanced guys, use Charmander. Once you've gone past the 1st two gyms, you'll be happy you chose it.
