Noob question, really sorry. |
|
Ok. I'm a total noob to Pokemon LeafGreen but I keep hearing all this stuff about an almost 400-pokemon Pokedex in this game and whatnot, but I am up to Vermilion City and I have yet to see a single Pokemon that wasn't in Red/Blue/Yellow. I haven't seen a single new Pokemon or Gold/Silver/Crystal pokemon yet. Are they going to come in later in the game, or am I misinformed, or what's going on?

Once you obtain the national pokedex you will be able to see pokemon from the G/S/C games. Though you have to trade in pokemon from R/S/E games.

Thanks for the speedy reply, but at what point in the game will I receive the National Pokedex? Does it happen to everyone who plays LeafGreen?

Yeh it happens to everyone who plays this game. Though the national dex is obtained once the player has completed the Elite Four and obtained 60 pokemon. Then Prof. Oak will reward the player saying there has been sightings of never before seen pokemon.
