Okay, I know Snorlax are in route 16 and 12, but i looked and looked, so on an so forth... and not a trace of the snorlax!
Any help/suggestions?

How can I get Master Balls? Is there more than 1?

1) Snorlaxes are hard to miss. You may have looked everywhere BUT the place where Snorlx is, or there's something wrong with your game.
2) There is only one Master ball. But you can get loads using cheats. I'd rather not.

Do you have to be a certain point in the game to find the Snorlaxes?

Actually yeah sort of but the snorlax are wat block you from getting further in the game so to beat it you have to either defeat of capture at least one of the two

I see, that's probably what it is. (i bought a used LG and continued with the started file so i could migrate pokemon to my Pearl.)
