Hello, I need help on beating the First elite four in the game.

Here is my team so far;
Dragonair

Female
HP:148
Attacks:
Hyperbeam
Safeguard
Thunder wave
Ice Beam

Note:I'm going to wait until after the elite four to evolve him. My strategy is to use her ice beam on Lance's Dragons. However, dragons are apparently weak to dragon atacks. Therefore, i might replace hyper beam with Out Rage. i taught her Hyperbeam with a TM. She wil learn it on her own later.

Notes: he has a good attack and defense stat. He may also be good at taking out Gary s Alakazam.

I also have a lv.48 Onix and lv.48 Machoke (But there not part of my team. Onix has good defense but he lacks good attack)

So can i beat the elite four? any tips or help? While this be as good team to defeat them?

I would say using just one electric type, pick Raichu or Zapdos (my choice) to keep and the other to swap for a fire type maybe, like Magmar or Ninetales.
