I think you should get a psychic pokemon (I know butterfree has confusion but still) maybe ditch the hm slave meowth, but if you dont want to, just keep it BUT, level it up (you may be low to your last pokemon sometimes, and you do not want that to be the weakest..

no butterfree is kinda cool, but i dont think it would be REALLY handful in the e4 (which is 5, i never really got that...) anyway - an abra would do fine.. you dont need an alakazam, just an kadabra does fine

i have caught an abra, evolved it into kadabra and traded into alakazam so now i have alakazam lvl 23

ha, you quick. good. now teach it any psychic moves. also, those moves like.. future sight helps a bunch. cause it saves one pp, and if you are down to a last pokemon and its a type disvantage, it saves you. it can also learn any of the punches, by the way
