Just about a quarter of those sprites look normal. Like gengar.

well.. i got a shiny squirtle on my leaf green version today, and i just bought it today as well.. 2 hours into turning the game off and on. one pops out lol.

so i guess the hunt was worth it.. even tho i spend countless hours on sapphire looking for one.

All I have is a Shiny Pidgeot. I'm trying to breed it with Altaria so I can Have a shiny swablu.

I ran into a purple Drowzee once but i had no poke balls! it sucked bad!!!

You still have the same chances of getting a shiny wether or not you breed with a shiny.

I just caught a shiny blue rapidash a couple of days ago!
it was near the place where you have to battle to become pokemon master! you have to surf the small pond and ont the other side is grass where i got it!!!

I was looking for a Chansey in the Safari Zone but then I ran into a Shiny Exeggcute! It was all golden and I was lucky it was easy to catch...

How to get a Blue ditto plus other shinies, other than gameshark. Ok...so I just randomly happened across this site to research the shiny pokemon ok. And I have some info for you guys, and this is referring to pokemon gold, silver, and crystal versions. Duplicate red gyrados (however you spell it) and trade over to blue, red, or yellow version. (Warning: gyrados will turn back to blue) Teach it mimic. Go to a place with dittos. Use mimic on it. Then use transform once or twice. Then catch the ditto. Trade the ditto back to gold, silver, or crystal. The ditto will be blue, guaranteed, and it may or may not have a rare item on itself.

Now for other shiny pokemon. Take the blue ditto to the day care and breed it with another pokemon. When the egg hatches, it might be a shiny pokemon. This is not gauranteed to work. It's only worked for me once, and that's how I got my gold/brown chikorita. I've tried other pokemon with the blue ditto, but have not succeded. But I am currently working on more experiments.
