Ok I got all the pokemons from the starters
Totodile Adamant lv 05 Larvitar Adamant lv 20 Eevee Modest lv 26 bagon adamant lv 30 Abra Modest lv 12 Bulbasaur Modest lv 07 If u say that venasaur is a good sponger than I personally think that Giga drain would be a nice pick instead of razor leaf or magical leaf And I cant teach alakazam the three elemental punches coz my emerald is corrupt And I have made a baby team now what r those EV spreads? ------------------- ![]() TCs Credit to Lauzi for the cool banner.

Giga drain has basically no pp whatsoever.
I suppose you could go for hidden power, buit that's heavily dependant on your alakazam's IVs. ------------------- quote fortepenis

Ok, I'll go through exactly what you need to do for each Pokemon. I'm not sure if you've got the right moves, because some of the moves I suggested are Egg Moves; I.e. you have to transfer them from other Pokemon.
Totodile Adamant lv 05 EVs: 40 HP/252 Atk/218 Speed Ok, the problem is this. Feraligatr (or Totodile/Croconaw) doesn't learn any decent Attack moves naturally. So, you're going to have to transfer moves over, or teach it by other ways. I'll go through exactly where to get them: Earthquake - TM26 - From any game. Brick Break - TM31 - From any game. Rock Slide - Move Tutor - in FireRed/LeafGreen Sword's Dance - Move Tutor - in FireRed/LeafGreen If you don't already know, it's commonplace for trainers to EV train their Pokemon first, then teach them the moves. Larvitar Adamant lv 20 You caught a wild Larvitar, right? I'm afraid you're going to have to use another one. Y'see, Dragon Dance is an Egg Move; you have to breed a female Larvitar with a Male Pokemon that knows Dragon Dance. I suggest this; get a Male Gyarados, raise it to lvl 50 (since it learns Dragon Dance then) and then breed with a female Larvitar. As for the other info: EVs: 20 HP/252 Atk/238 Speed Dragon Dance - Egg Move - Larvitar should already have Earthquake - Learns naturally Rock Slide - Learns naturally Aerial Ace/Brick Break - TM40/31 - From any game. Eevee Modest lv 26 EVs: 4 HP/252 Sp.Atk/252 Speed EV train your Eevee, and when you hit lvl 36, it will learn Baton Pass. Evolve it to Jolteon with a Thunderstone, then carry on EV training until you're done. Baton Pass - Learnt when Eevee Thunderbolt - TM24 - From any game. Protect - TM17 - From any game. Toxic/Shadow Ball - TM6/30 - From any game. bagon adamant lv 30 EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Speed Again, you need Dragon Dance, and Salamence/Shelgon/Bagon doesn't learn it naturally, so you can't use this Bagon. So, breed a female one of them with the same lvl 50 male Gyarados that you used for the Tyranitar. Dragon Dance - Egg Move - Bagon should know from birth. Earthquake - TM26 - From any game. Brick Break - TM31 - From any game. Aerial Ace/Steel Wing - TM40/47 - From any game. Abra Modest lv 12 EVs: 4 HP/252 Sp.Atk/252 Speed Calm Mind - Learns naturally. Psychic - Learns naturally. Shadow Ball - TM30 - From any game. Shock Wave - TM34 - From any game. Well, there's another way to get the Elemental punches besides the Emerald Move Tutor. Technically, you can get them by Egg Moves, but that would take a long time. I suggest you just use Shock Wave; it's the Special equivalent of Aerial Ace, plus it will make use of Calm Mind's Sp.Atk boosting and Alakazam's high Sp.Atk base stat. Bulbasaur Modest lv 07 EVs: You have to tell me your IVs first. Generally, it will be completely on HP, Sp.Atk, Sp.Def and Def. Synthesis - Learns naturally. Leech Seed - Learns naturally. Sleep Powder/Poison Powder - Learns naturally. Magical Leaf/Razor Leaf - Egg Move/Learns naturally. If you want Magical Leaf, then you'll need to breed a female Bulbasaur/Ivysaur/Venusaur with a male Roselia or Tropius. Giga Drain? Well, I see why you think that's an appropriate move; since spongers are all about HP recovery, why not use a Grass move for that, right? Well, to be honest, you don't need it for the following reasons: 1) If you set up your Venusaur, it will recharge HP every turn with Leftovers and Leech Seed anyway, along with Synthesis. So, why do you need another HP recovery move when you got all that running? 2) Razor Leaf and Magical Leaf both have more PP than Giga Drain. 3) Magical Leaf NEVER misses, and Razor Leaf has a high chance of scoring a Critical Hit. Giga Drain isn't a very used move for those reasons. It will take you about 2 weeks to sort this team out; not too long, but I imagine most of your time will be in transferring Egg Moves and EV training. I suggest you work on 1 Pokemon at a time. Good luck with it. ------------------- ![]() Visit Pokelude! My Pokemon Blog! (Sig courtesy of The Cheat King)

re: General Rate My Team Thread Version 2.0 |
quote Arcanine 194Yes. To breed to Pokemon and produce lots of Eggs, get one Pokemon with the Trainer Code of that game, and the other Pokemon from another game. For example, if you're playing LeafGreen, you make sure you catch a Pokemon from it and then transfer over another Pokemon from Ruby, then breed the two. Pokerus only increases the rate at which you get EVs, like the Macho Brace. You can get Pokerus in the wild, like in RSE, but it isn't worth it. EVs are Effort Values. Put simply, when you fight certain Pokemon, your Pokemon gains certain EVs if it wins the battle. For example, fighting a Trapinch will give you 1 Attack EV. It is also worth noting that 4 EVs = 1 Stat point. So, for example, if we have 2 identical Mews, with one having 100 Speed EVs and the other with none, then the first one will have 25 Speed more than the other (since 100/4 = 25). Your Pokemon can gain a maximum of 510 EV Points. However, it can't gain all 510 on one stat; you can only have a maximum of 255 on one stat. So, for example, I could very easily train a Venusaur to have 255 Speed EVs and 255 Defence EVs, and I'm done. However, that's too specific, and usually people spread out EVs. For example, some random Pokemon might have this: 23 Attack/160 Def/100 Speed/100 Sp.Atk/127 Sp.Def So, to answer your question, yes, you can add EVs to literally any stat, from HP to Sp.Def, but you can only give 255 EVs per stat, and you can only have a total of 510. ------------------- ![]() Visit Pokelude! Ok I get it actually my game got corrupted and now I have restarted it with a squirtle it has a sassy nature (+ sp. def, -speed) I think its good for a Blastoise with counter and mirror coat and can anyone tell me that if I train my squirtle mostly by defeating geodude steelix onix hypno etc. pokemon that have high def and sp. def will it get good evs and raise its defensive stats and where can I train my charmander and bulbasaur in LG to get speed evs and attack evs for charmander and sp. attck and sp.def evs for bulbasaur
And just for confirmation that pokemon will get those stat EVs which are abundant in the foe it is batteling with RIGHT? Oh ya and another thing If I cant trade coz I told u earlier that I only have E and LG and my E got busted so isnt there any other way I can breed pokemon I have a GS and the secret Id code so if that can help me ------------------- ![]() TCs Credit to Lauzi for the cool banner.

re: General Rate My Team Thread Version 2.0 |
quote Arcanine 194Firstly, people always EV train once they're in a comfortable part in the game and have access to all areas; therefore, at the end. EV training from the start is extremely hard; I don't think anyone does it if they have the choice. That Squirtle isn't too bad; it would have been better if the Nature was (+Sp.Def, -Atk) or (+Def, - Atk). As for your EV questions; yes, the Pokemon you use to win that battle will get the EVs. For example, if your Squirtle beat a Numel, it will get 1 Sp.Atk EV. As for EV locations, use Serebii. It has a list of what EVs each Pokemon offer. I don't suggest you use a Gameshark; it will also corrupt your LeafGreen save data, most likely. Restart your Emerald, play through it, then do all the trading and whatnot. Is just your Emerald save data ruined, or the entire cartridge? ------------------- ![]() Visit Pokelude! My Pokemon Blog! (Sig courtesy of The Cheat King)

@Absol4evr,
I'll make this a quick improvement, got exams tomorrow: Baton Pass Calm Mind Psychic Shadow Ball/HP [Grass/Fire/Water/Electric] That should work fine. I wouldn't use the Sunny Day-Morning Sun combo if I were you. To be honest, it just wastes a turn. ------------------- ![]() Visit Pokelude! My Pokemon Blog! (Sig courtesy of The Cheat King)

quote beer_drunken_ninjaOK I wont use a GS but if I were to (just for knowledge) use a GS in this case for my breeding will it work? And one more thing which nature is perfect for charmander? ------------------- ![]() TCs Credit to Lauzi for the cool banner.

quote Arcanine 194The codes you put in might not even work. Even if they do, there's a big chance of your game being corrupted (again) and you'll have Bad Eggs appearing everywhere. As for Charmander, it depends on what you want to use it for. I like to use it as a Special Sweeper, so I recommend Modest (+Sp.Atk, -Atk) ------------------- ![]() Visit Pokelude! My Pokemon Blog!
