(just for knowledge)
\I said just for knowledge so if it is used will it work I wont of course use it after losing my game twice of course I am just asking 4 info
I need a good moveset for a modest natured Charizard

And one more thing where can I get Mirror coat 4 my Blastoise?

This message was edited by Arcanine 194 on Jun 08 2007.
I know you said "Just for knowledge". I wasn't telling you off or anything dude

As for a Modest one...
Charizard@Chesto Berry
EVs: 26 HP/252 Sp.Atk/232 Speed
-Flamethrower
-Dragon Claw
-Rest
-HP [Water/Grass/Electric/Special anything]

If you want a Blastoise with Mirror Coat, you'll have to breed a female Squirtle/Wartortle/Blastoise with a male Corsola; Corsola learns Mirror Coat at lvl 39.

@nancy9031,

0/10. You Pokemon are obviously hacked and they're all ubers. Arcanine, no Pokemon can get 999 stats in anything unless they've been boosted with Gamesharks or any cheat devices. God, cheaters...

re: General Rate My Team Thread Version 2.0

I know that nany used a GS and I said it in a taunting manner
My charizard has the following moveset right now
flamethrower
Overheat
Dragon claw
Aerial ace
Modest nature
Petaya berry
How do I make hidden power 4 my Charizard If I were to delete any move
U still didnt answer my breeding question (just 4 knowledge)
If I do use a secret id viewing code and then catch a pokemon and breed them will it work?

Ok, get rid of Overheat and Aerial Ace. Replace them with Hidden Power and Rest. I'll get to Hidden Power in a minute.

To check Hidden Power's type, simply fight a Keckleon from Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald. It will say "Keckleon transformed to a XXX Type!".

Hidden Power is a move that you need to teach your Pokemon. It's a TM, but I forgot where it is in LeafGreen. Check Serebii.

I did answer your question. Check 6 posts back, I said:

The codes you put in might not even work. Even if they do, there's a big chance of your game being corrupted (again) and you'll have Bad Eggs appearing everywhere.

re: General Rate My Team Thread Version 2.0

There's no other way to learn Counter apart from that Move Tutor in Celadon...

Well, looks like there's no other solution. You're going to have to decide if you want a Blastoise with Counter, or Mirror Coat; very disadvantaged situation, but there you go.
I suggest you forget about the Blastoise you already have, and work for that Mirror Coat one. I'm going to have to tweak a moveset that I usually use:

Blastoise@Leftovers
Calm Nature (+Sp.Def, -Atk)
EVs: 150 HP/100 Def/110 Sp.Atk/150 Sp.Def
-Surf
-Ice Beam
-Mirror Coat
-Refresh/Protect/Attract

That's fine now...

As for your other Pokemon:

Charizard - Looking great, however, have you checked what the Hidden Power type is yet?

Venusaur - No problems there.

Tyranitar - Good, apart from one thing. Haven't you got Dragon Dance yet?

Raichu - Is this supposed to be the old team you wanted? If you didn't want to use a Pokemon, then please don't ask for people to give suggestions and the like. My opinion is, forget about Raichu...

Alakazam - Looking real good.

Well, your team's looking rather formidable now. A few adjustments and things will be looking great.

re: General Rate My Team Thread Version 2.0

Wobbuffet can't breed with Blastoise. Trust me, I checked it out for you, it won't work out.

Steel? Gah... I suggest you try for another Charizard. This is real annoying, right? Well, that's what it takes to be an advanced trainer.

Instead of Raichu, use a Jolteon. Broader movepool, and here's what I recommend:

Jolteon@Leftovers
Modest Nature (+Sp.Atk, -Atk)
EVs: 6 HP/252 Sp.Atk/252 Speed
-Baton Pass
-Thunderbolt
-Shadow Ball
-HP [Special]

You're going to have that same problem with HP. For this Jolteon, just get a Modest Eevee, teach it Hidden Power, see if it's special (but not a Ghost or Electric type), then level it upto 37 so it can learn Baton Pass. Then, evolve it.

re: General Rate My Team Thread Version 2.0

Ya the Wobuffet thing doesnt work I checked it out too

As 4 Charizard I am raising another charmeleon this time I tought it hidden power earlier and its electric It is also modest nature

I had another question abt EVs what if I EV train my pokemon by drugs like protein etc I have done this and when I wanna raise a pokemons sp attk and give it calcium there comes a stage when it says that it wont have any effect but when I give any other drug to the same pokemon then then that drug raises the respective stat

Cant I just use more calcium to raise sp attck

And one more thing how wud I know that how much Evs is my pokemon getting?

It sure is I had to breed my Gyarados and Tyranitar 58 times to get an Adamant natured Larvitar IT IS REALLY ANNOYING:#

re: General Rate My Team Thread Version 2.0

A Modest Charmeleon with HP Electric? That's perfect. Blastoise? Gyarados? Salamence? No problem now.

The drugs raise a Pokemon's EVs by 10. However, you can only give your Pokemon drugs until it hits 100 EVs for that stat, or if you have 510 overall anyway. You can give Calcium instead of fighting Pokemon, but when you can't give anymore, you're either at 100 or past it.

To find out how many EVs your Pokemon gets after a fight, refer to Serebii's list. To find out how many EVs your Pokemon already has, you're going to have to keep a record of the EVs like a tally chart.

Funny how this thread is mostly me and you now...

Ya it is really funny

OK the question remains that we can give our pokemon the EV training for 64 point increase in a stat so why cant we do it with drugs and if we have to make a tally chart then tell me how to make it?

re: General Rate My Team Thread Version 2.0

Each drug gives your Pokemon 10 EVs. So, if you want 64 EVs, you'll have to use 6 drugs and get the other 4 by fighting.

You should have learnt how to do Tally charts at school. They're simply a row of vertical lines, and then a diagonal line through all of them when you reach a multiple of 5. As you EV train your Pokemon, do the Tallies.

Oh ya after submitting the post I realized that I know how to do tally charts

OK If I give my pokemon 6 drugs 4 one stat only and then I train it 4 the same stat will it get a 64 point increase in the respective stat?
