Hmm... Sneasel is a fast Pokemon with an excellent Speed base stat, and a good Attack one. However, it's defences and HP are rather low.
If you want to use a Sneasel, go for it, but remember to use it and then switch out soon, because quite a few Pokemon can hit it with it's Dark/Ice typing.

A few useful tips after seeing the movesets here;
1) Don't have more than one of the same type move. For example, there's no need to have both Hydro Pump and Surf.
2) Accuracy > Power. If you have a choice between Fire Blast or Flamethrower, go for the latter.
3) Check what Types are Attack and what's Special Attack. For example, if you have a Tyranitar, try to give it mostly Attack moves rather than Special Attack, as it's Attack Base Stat is much better than Sp.Atk.
4) Stat-Upping items like Blackglasses are practically useless. It isn't worth having a 10% Base Power increase for a single type move. Use Leftovers or a Status-healing Berry instead.
5) Stay away from moves that take more than one turn to work. That includes Dig, Fly, Sky Attack, Skull Bash or anything else like that. Solar Beam's an exception ONLY if Sunny Day/Groudon's Drought Ability is in play, as it becomes a one turn move.
6) Try and use moves with a Base Power of at least 60. This is really generalising, though; Quick Attack is an excellent move if you have high enough Attack, especially with a Sword's Dance or two.
7) HMs are generally rubbish. The only decent one is Surf; Cut, Fly, Strength, Rock Smash, Flash, Whirlpool aren't good, and Waterfall is worse than Surf anyway.
8) At least have one STAB move. STAB means "Same Type Attack Bonus". This means, if you use a move with the same Type as the Pokemon, you get a 1.5x Base Power increase. For example, if you have a Tyranitar using Thunderbolt, it will only have 95 Base Power. If you use a Thunderbolt with Raichu, it'll be 142.5 Base Power, as 95 x 1.5 = 142.5
This is just some general stuff I picked up while looking at the recent movesets. Choose to use my advice or not, it is naturally your choice, but please don't try and justify using Rock Smash or anything like that. Thanks for reading and feel free to ask something.

Hi will someone rate my battle tower team please. Note this is for Ruby Version!
Ok this is my team all level 100 in order
Salamence@leftovers Crunch Dragon Claw Fly (great against grass/bug types and for dodging rollout) Flamethrower
Swampert@mystic water Waterfall (should i put surf even though att is higher than sp. att?) Earthquake Muddy Water Ice Beam
Shedinja@Kings Rock(DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE IT, VERY HELPFULL) Return Confuse Ray Fury Cutter Shadow Ball
Thank You and please help me, I really want the battle tower items and the Silver/Gold shields.
Also feel free to (preferably) answer this question on my thread on the Ruby forum located here http://www.neoseeker.com/forums/3271/t1018398-rate-my-battle-tower-team/

Hi will someone rate my battle tower team please. Note this is for Ruby Version!Ok this is my team all level 100 in order Salamence@leftovers -Crunch -Dragon Claw - Hydro Pump-Flamethrower I understand why you had Fly, but to be honest, few Pokemon with a decent Attack Base Stat have Rollout, and it isn't a common move anyway. Those that are deadly with it, such as Donphan, are weak to Hydro Pump, so that takes care of them. Anyway, you appear to have a Special Sweeping 'mence, so Hydro Pump works better there as it allows you to cover many more Pokemon than Fly does.Swampert@mystic water - Brick Break/Iron Tail-Earthquake - Surf-Ice Beam As a general rule, never have two of the same Type moves in a moveset. Brick Break/Iron Tail gives you more Type coverage and makes better use of Swampert's naturally higher Attack Stat. As for Waterfall... This isn't Diamond man, Water moves are always Special, so you might as well have Surf for STAB. Shedinja@Kings Rock (DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE IT, VERY HELPFULL)Return Confuse Ray Fury Cutter Shadow Ball Hmm... Shedinja is still hit by Fire, Dark, Flying, Ghost and Rock moves. Those Types are common, so you will be 1HKOed eventually. I don't like Shedinja at all to be honest for that reason; it's far too easy to knock it out and it's predictable. I'd suggest you use something else, but if you're adamant about using it, go ahead. As far as replacements go, why not try Metagross? This message was edited by justinkal on Oct 13 2007.

First ON RUBY VERSION IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO TEACH SALAMENCE HYDRO PUMP. Second I only use Shedinja in emergencies and when it is invincible to the opponent.

Salamence can have Hydro Pump, you just need to breed it onto him. A Gyarados or a Seadra/Kingdra works well.

Well, I'm not a fan of Shedinja anyway. I barely see it in competitive battling, so that has to tell you something about it's worth when it's used less than a Xatu. As for Salamence and Hydro Pump, as The Black Soldier stated, you have to breed for it. Moves like this are known as Egg Moves; similarly, a Larvitar can get Dragon Dance even though it doesn't learn it naturally. Anyway, just breed a female Bagon/Shelgon/Salamence with a male Gyarados/Seadra/Kingdra that knows Hydro Pump.

With my current team I finnaly lost unfortunatly but with a grand total of 92 wins. An annoying Wishcash used fissure on Swampert. Then Salamence KOed Wishcash. Then they sent out Registeel which used explosion KOing Salamence. Then they sent out Duskclops and I sent out Shedinja@brightpowder. I used shadow ball, and take out 2/3 of their hp. They used Will-o-wisp and I died.

Rating? Advice? Oh Btw i don't like Stat changing moves. I don't mind moves that lower the foes accuracy or attack or such like, but i prefer to just attack(But i am a fan of moves such as poison gas or sleep powder, to give the foe a status problem 100% of the time if they hit, not like ones like poison sting, which may only poison sometimes) I always have done, and always will. I will dig out my items to see what i have but i doubt i will have much. I don't mind changing Pokemon, but I would like to keep at least Char, Bubbles and on of the birds if poss. I'm not sure if Hippy is a good choice, or if i should change out Moltres for something else as I don't need 2 fire Pokemon.
