i think you'll find most people who use cheats use it to get through the game faster having done so on a previous occasion. this is certainly the case when it comes to me.

what about the people like me who play through it once fairly then cheat? It's all fun either way, get over yourself you aren't the best because you don't cheat, just deal with the fact that some people cheat. I am one of these people, and i proudly say that.

Actually, i didnt cheat to get mine. i was fishing and i found one, so i caught it. i fished for more and left. this was above of mossdeep. i flew to oldale and went down into the grass and found more. i caught about ten in all. ALSO, when i named my first one, it showed a picture of a pinkish bulbasaur. another was a blue charmander, a shiny cyndaquil and a yellow bulbasaur. i didnt name any more. i did not use cheats at all.

I have a bad egg. I leant my game to my boyfriend to use and he was stupid enough to try every cheat on his game shark (on my game! The cheek!) Anyway I was running along to the daycare to stick my Blastiose in there and the daycare man was stood out with an egg and I thought WTF I dont have anything in the daycare apart from my ditto! So I refused the egg and went to speak to the lady and she said both your pokemon are doing fine so I looked and it said ditto and bad EGG. And theres me getting all exited thinking Id got something rare and special. Now Ill explain what bad EGGS are... They are a selection of complete random data they can be holding any item and the description can be anything but the status is always the same "This EGG looks like it will take a long time to hatch" Now as I said its just complete random data... Like a missingno... And can carry any item. Mine was carrying an exp. share. I ran around with it for a while and realised I was getting nowhere... So I thought "Ah I know it came with and exp. share so obviously evolves by level. So I took it through the elite four several times. No. Heres what you do. Theres a chance it will corrupt your data theres a chance it wont. So What I did. I put it in a box on its own (Well I felt kinda sorry for it so I stuck a Gulpin egg in there I didnt want) and Just leave it keep it away from your other pokemon. Better safe that sorry.

I saw a video on Youtube (I don't know if it's a fake, I can't tell) of someone on their Ruby file receiving a Bad Egg from that old lady in the Lavardige Spa. Every time he took a step, it hatched into......

ANOTHER BAD EGG!!!

He must've eventually got the Pokecentre, but man, that would have been annoying for him.
I don't know whether anything happened to any of his other pokemon, it doesn't show that on the video.

bad eggs appear if you input the code wrong in the cheating divice to get rid of them just put a code that replaces the first pokemon in your party for any pokemon (be sure the bad egg is in the first slot) then activate it and voila the bad egg will no longer be there but just in case release the pokemon you replaced the bad egg with

I had TONS of them in Ruby because I didn't know what I was doing. The worst they ever did was take up box space. No eating pokemon, or hatching into Missingno. They just stayed there. They also had the added benifit of Pokerus, which i used to infect most of my pokemon.

bad eggs arent just from putting in the wrong cheats. i dnt hav ruby or sapphire but i have the newer games and bad eggs can be rather common. if u have an action replay or gameshark then avoid cheats that sound too good 2 be true (excluding master ball and rare candy cheats) but sometimes they just appear at random. if these "glitches" werent meant 2 be in the games then dont u think the game makers would have done something about it? perhaps the bad eggs were meant 2 eat your pokemon. but the bad eggs in the new games, their summary says that they r about to hatch.

lol i have a bad egg and it says its asleep and then it has a ball capsul on it so i cant get rid of it... then i got another one (randomly) and it was burnt. lol and it wont hatch either.... BLARG THIS SUX!!!!!!!!!

In my Pokemon Diamond game I used the action replay cheat "All Eggs Hatch In 2 Steps" and it hatched into Missingo! If I put it in my PC Box my game freezes! Even worse Missingo sucks in battle! What the hell are wrong with them!? Who knows!

actually bad eggs can hatch but only if you use flame body pokemon. most of you have said that they "take over pokemon" sometimes thats not true. one time my friend had a bad egg and it hatched into a shiny mew. most likely ledgendaries it hatches into. JUST DONT STROE IT IN YOUR PC.

SPELL IT RIGHT. IT IS MissingNo. Missing Number. Not Missingo, No Mino, nor Misingo

MissingNo and M are only in red and blue. The glitch pokemon of R/S/E/LG/FR is the large question mark used for the pokedex. Its is NOT MissingNo. It is ?. For Pokemon diamond/pearl/platinum, i believe it is a glitchy block, but not the MissingoNo we know from red and blue.

If a bad egg does evntually hatch, It will hatch into a ?. Not a MissingNo, or a Jirachi, or a M, or a Kyogre in a masterball, k?

Alright I'm gonna try to find the truth, i have a bad egg in diamond that i got when i used this code (along with fewdeoxys lvl 100 pokerus shiny):


Press L+R and maxed stats Deoxys's will appear in Box 15, Pokerus infected, shiny, lvl 100, OT Ace, and Box name changes. I have like 32 Deoxys's now it rocks!
