Well guys(or guy)! I got this game now! And they're both terrific games! With some updated visuals and more extra goodies, this is great buy! I highly recommend this game for any KOF,Fatal Fury, or Art of Fighting fan! Also for anybody who likes 2D fighting games in general! Guilty Gear might be sweet...but this is what started it all! And it's alot more deep than Street Fighter!

I'm not sure if I'd get the game, to be honest with ya...quite frankly, I'm merely in this for the character storyline and movelists (which is probably why I play KOF98 at the arcade in town). Oh well...

In terms of KOF News...SNK (like Tecmo, ironically) is keeping their mouth wide shut when it comes to new games like SVC Chaos and KOF3D (not sure why, but hopefully the silence means something revolutionary comes our way...). Whether or not that is a good or bad...only time can tell.

I can't wait till KOF 2002 comes out! The Nest' Saga was kinda crappy, nothing compared to the Orochi one!

I just bought KOF 2000/2001 and it doesn't seem to be much depth to it. Not a whole lot there it seems so far, but I am new to the series. I do like the fact that the Fatal Fury anime guy Terry is here. That's cool. Are there like unlockables to get and such to make this game worth it to keep playing? I have beaten it a number of times with different characters but really haven't unlocked anything that I can see. I do like the fact that there are numerous fighters to choose from.

Thank you for your help, but I went ahead and traded it in for store credit. It was a fun game but didn't have enough game depth for me. Plus, I think I am spoiled to 3-D fighters! lol

First off i'd like to say that i think 2d fighters are better than 3d ones. i just grew up playing them and i enjoy playing them more. secondly, the idea to put 00/01 in the same package was awesome. i hope they do the same thing with 02/03. now i just need to find all the KoFs before 99 and i'll be set. P.S. was 94 just on the NeoGeo or can i find it for Playstation also?
