	I need help. I recently got actraiser1, but without instructions. Cam anyone help me to get started. Observe people is the farthest I got. Jgilmore

	ActRaiser was 2 basic modes of play. First you start out in an Action mode in which your character fights his way to the end of an area and defeats a Boss. (In the same type of way as you would find in a lot of older action games such as Metroid.) Control Pad: Moves the character Control Pad Down = kneel, combine with the Y button you can kneel and attack together. A or X Button plus Control Pad Up: Allows you to use the magic spell you are carrying. Spells: Magical Fire: Fire balls will be thrown to the right and left attacking monsters in your path Magical Stardust: Countless shooting stars fall from above damaging any monster on the screen Magical Aura: The aura of the master will become a giant ball of light that launches a rotating attack Magical Light: Calls light from the Sky palace damaging any monsters to either side of the warrior B Button: Allows the character to jump B plus Y allows you to jump and attack together. Y Button: Controls the sword, can also throw force fields from the sword. You can also find items & power ups hidden in the Action mode, appearing briefly as orbs of light. Attacking these with your sword will reveal your reward. The orbs will disappear if you don't act quick enough. After completing that first section you move into a Simulation mode where you try to rebuild an area by developing the land and increasing the population. The more developed and populated a land is the higher level your character becomes for the next Action Mode sequence. Control Pad: Moves the angel and the cursor. A Button: Shrinks the world view B Button: Enters the selected command X Button: Enlarges the world view Y Button: Cancels a command You can save your game in the Sky Palace or the Simulation mode. Select "Other" and then "Progress Log". To erase data, turn on the game and hold both L & []R[/b] until the title appears. You then will be able to start a new game. Hope that gets you started.
