re: Favourite level (Super Mario 1)

My favourite levels are:

1-1. There's something very intriguing about watching the demo at the title screen. Also, for me, it was the first part of any video game I laid eyes on. So yes, in a way, for me it's the most classic part of the whole game or any game for that matter.

1-3. The hilltop platforms were really cool. Again, a very classic level.

2-1. Just coming out of the castle and the next level was the water-world one. And it had the trampoline at the end of the level! I also loved the very beginning with the Koopa Troopas in that confined area. When I was a lot younger, I used to see how many times I could bounce the shell off the wall, stop it, and then kick it again.

I like the levels with the green tree looking things you have to jump across.

8 with that darn jump I replayed to that point about a hundred times before I learned to keep bouncing off the turtles.

Hmmm I think my favorite is 8-1. I think it's the longest level in the game, and it's also fun.

re: Favourite level (Super Mario 1)

yes, the first one is very retro indeed. it would be my favorite as well, without a doubt. (1 - 2 is cool too, since you can jump straight to level 5 there)

re: Favourite level (Super Mario 1)

My favorite level is 4-4, the final castle in World 4. Because I refuse help from anyone else, it took me forever to figure out the pattern through the maze. Also, I love the under-water levels.

The very last level, 8-4. I remember it took me a while to figure out which pipes to enter, heh. It was definitely the most challenging level.

Level 1-2 because of the Warp Zone. I also like it because it's the way to the minus world.

re: Favourite level (Super Mario 1)

Many people have never heard of the minus world. I think the first zone of the first level is the best level. Incredibly simple and so much fun.

Can you get into minus world using Super Mario All Stars?

re: Favourite level (Super Mario 1)

I've tried and have yet to get into Minus World with All Stars which makes me believe that it isn't possible.

BTW, I found a Minus World Video if anyone is interested.
