ok guys one nice day i booted up the game and i started at world "0-1" (odd)after beating that thing (was very easy) it said "thank you mario but our princess is somewhere else" and then it started from the players select!WTF?

It's an odd quirk that can be found in the game if you play it on an emulator. It happens if the memory is not cleared correctly. If you got it when playing on an actual NES, were you using a Game Genie?

How is a boy name with a girl in it???Mario girl???Makes no sense but NEVER use a emulator people or you can't just buy anything just like gameinformer said DROP THE EMULATOR AND GRAB A CONSOLE!

this happend when i was playing brothers nes emulater. i opened up super mario bros. and it said:
"could not ;oad memory" and sent me to 0-1. damn that level made no sense at all | |
