	i decided to replay this game after years to get the other modes thats involve getting 10 stars but im supposed to beat the game under a certain time, is there a way to stop the in game time?

	Unfortunately not, you cannot pause time. However, a speed run won't last more than an hour and a half, so you should be alright playing till the end in one go. Remember you cannot save while doing so, so that option is out of the question. -------------------
