re: Real life silent hill moments |

man iv had some really messed up moments, i live on long island, and we have a house in pennysylvania up in the pokano mountains, its really elavated so lots of fog and rain, really big woods and a few fields here and there. me and my cousin were bored one night, it was around 11 pm and we decided to go into the woods for kicks. we went in really deep to where there is a small creek and hung out for a while. we suddenly heard leaves crunshing in the distance, then it got closer and we were both scared shitless. we got up, looked around and walked really slowly back toward the house, but it was dark and we couldnt find our way back, we panicked and started running in a general direction hoping to find a path. we found one that would lead us back to the house, and started walking along it, not saying a word listening for a noise. we were in a field with tall grass not to far from the house, and we heard something scraping against the tall grass, when we stopped, it continued, then after a few more seconds it stoped also, then we sprinted for the house, ran up the steps and ran inside. we didnt sleep at all that night, i thought we were going to die in the field, was scary stuff

i can hear conversations of people i don't know and who don't live near me.
also, one time at work, there was a bad storm outside, and it knocked out the power. the phones were out too. and wouldn't ya know it, that's when someone decided to start bangin' on the window. i was around the corner from it,so i didn't see that it was some guy who wanted to come in till the rain stopped. but when i heard it, the first thng that popped into my head was 'i hope this don't turn into some silent hill s***.' the second thought was 'grab that knife and find what's bangin' out there. and don't gasp at it, if its some kinda freak. slice first and be scared when you're REAL sure it's dead.' i think in second person. ------------------- If you like comedy, romance, anime and tall women, you'll love: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RLL10KFcmwg&NR=1 Love it or your money back!

I have to walk to the bus stop early in the morning, so it's dark with it being winter. Well, sometimes when I'm walking I walk down this alleyway because it's quick and I hear this squeeky gate moving around whilst I walk down there. It's so nerve wrecking especially when I look around to try and find where it's coming from. I also sometimes get the strange feeling that someone is following me. *shudders* I get very freaked and think of silent hill when I'm walking which I shouldn't do, seeing as it freaks me out even more.

this is kindof like ladyloves story. i was sleeping and woke up and heard scratching under my bed, it was like 4am, i didnt think it was much, so i tried to sleep again, but kept hearing it, i looked down but nothing was there, then i heard faint footsteps really fast in the hall. like 5 mins later i heard my mom scream really loud, i ran in to see what was going on and it was my ferret ontop of her jumping all over lol. i forgot to lock the cage that night it turns out =/

I put my cellphone in my pocket and was just standing there whistling cheerfully when I heard noises coming from my pocket - it sounded like children laughing and then a female voice said "are you ready?". I pulled the cellphone out, and it was still on Off. For a few weeks after that, I kept waiting to be pulled into the Silent Hill dimension, but unfortunately it never happened. Maybe I was just hallucinating.

Yes, thank you very much, Crono - I had been thinking of going to bed soon!
I think I'll stay up a bit later now! God, I can almost mentally hear somebody knocking at the front door now! Creepy...

2 decembers ago, i went to the philippines for a conference thingie for advertisers. During the 25th, which is christmas day, i went out of my hotel room to check out the mall beside it. There weren't many cars in the parking lot because the people may be out on vacation. Anyway, i went inside since the mall was open but i found it really empty and eerie.. just like in SH3. It's not deserted but there are only a few lights which are very very dim and you could see streaks of light at the end of some hallways. I saw an open store at the 2nd floor that sells PS2 games so i rushed towards the escalator and i saw it unmoving. It's really creepy.. there are no people around and the atmosphere is silent hillish. Also, there are some half-closed shutters along the hallways that make strange noises from the inside..
Another experience happened in the middle of my ad campaign of this amusement park. i was asked to pick up the copies of their old tv advertisements so i went there way before the park's operating hours. (the head office is located at the "heart" of the amusement park, literally) I wanted to be early so i was already there around 9am. It was an indoor amusement park so you'd only rely on the lights that they use inside. Since it was still early, there were only a few lights and, again, those were the dimmest lights. As i was walking, the rides around me are being tested by the technicians but you hardly see them cos they're in their respective consoles. You could really here the metals clinking and stuff and the boxcars of some mini roller cosaters that screech because of the speed. I got even scared when the music started playing.. you know, those kiddie amusement park songs that you hear. It was really creepy. It's as if the horses of the carousel are going to start bleeding or something. It was one of the creepiest mornings of my life thanks to my silent-hill-infused imagination.

spooky.
this doesn't really count, but it might. where i live is fairly densly populated, so there are always sounds from outside. while playing Silent Hill 1, not once but many times, when i was exploring th alternate elementry school, i could hear kids laughing and yelling outside. ------------------- If you like comedy, romance, anime and tall women, you'll love: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RLL10KFcmwg&NR=1 Love it or your money back!
