Now that was spook-ee... I actually got chills just reading that...

A few days back, I asked the man in charge of the shower rooms if he had left that boiler heating up, he said he was gonna turn it off but then forgot about it, that explains why I suddenly heard that steam whistle. As for the cracked window he also sugested it might have been all that wind that night, maybe some big stones were draged along and hit it, but I dont think so, the wind wasnt that strong to drag such big stones and thats a double window, also there were no rocks or anything when I went to check it out.

Some years ago, I was visiting a school similar to the SH Midwich school, not excaclty as it, but it was freaky how it was similar. So, I haven't played any Silent Hill games at that point, but I realized it because I bought the game some weeks before that. The thing is, I was going to a class to give some sort of I don't really remember what thing it was to the kids. I was heading to the bathroms first to feel more light before going in. Right before I could even pee I saw that the urinal was thrieving with brown crochraches, similars to the bug thing in SH1. I freaked out and went to the other urinal, and it was all the same. It was really freaky, not for the fact of the bugs, but the fact that I really didn't want to harm the bug by peeing on them.

Another short one: Today at night I carelessly and unintentionaly got a recorder going on for about an hour in my room. I turned off the lights and nobody was at home, neither me. I got back cause I forgot a briefcase, and realized that the recorder was on. It seemed fun to hear the tape. I heard the room door closing and also the main door. About fifteen seconds later, I heard some noise, so I amplified the sound. There were footsteps. It sounded like a little child running about. It goes for about all the tape, until the main door is heard again. You'll cal me freak, but it was scary to hear footsteps in your room when you're not in the room.

So, You're living in a haunted house... Have you left the recorder on after that? Maybe in other rooms?

Nope, I have not used the recorder since then, I don't know why. I don't even want to know what will be p,ayed the next time I record something in the house. By the way, I've played SH4, and I actually think that SH1 is beter in most of the ways; ignoring graphics and that Walter guy in the Prision World-2nd time.

The point is: sometimes when I'm alone at night, specially when I'm in front of the computer I feel like I'm being watched. Suddenly, I see some humanoid or so figure in my periferical vision range and when I turn it stays for a moment and then dissapears... It looks like a mature man wearing white on his clothes, wearing a white hat, with a white face and palid arms; I have not seen his face even once. It creeps me out and appears multiple times when my dog barks. He hangs around the room door; near the bed.

I once had a friend who lived in a haunted house ever night around 12 the lights would flicker doors would open and close and there were sounds..Strange sounds that i can't discribe now...I would of never thought it to be real but one night i stayed at her house for a sleep over party i wasn't the only person there another friend of mine and hers was there now we had been asleep for awhile and then then me and my friends where woken up by the bedroom light turning on and off.

Then my friend asked if we wanted to see something cool so me and my friend went with her to see something cool only too see the kitchen draws slaming and lights flickering then we started to feel cold then the noise started weird sounds some of them sounded like wispers and i can tell ya i was close to peeing my pants at this point but so was my other friend so we ran back into the room and jumped into are sleeping bags and hid.

Now a little heads up i was about 8 so when your that age to see something like that you would feel like your about to pee your pants and back then i was scared out of my mind with anything freaking or anything that went bump in the night unlike now when i can't get enough of it.

I was on one of my late-night walks, the other day, when i saw a man walking a dog. I didn't think much of it, even if the dog seemed to be staring at me, right from when i first saw it, until it was out of my sight.

Then a couple of miles later, i hear some animal running at me through a forest. I keep on walking, although slowly. Before i can see the animal, it seems to turn to the way i'm heading.
A few minutes later, i see the dog, sitting on the side of the road, staring straight at me.

I was so scared, i couldn't make a sound. It was hard to breathe. But the dog won't move. It just sits there staring at me. Some time later i hear a crash up ahead. After some time, i don't really know how long it took, a car's lights appear behind a hill i had just climbed up and the dog runs away. I calm down and start walking again.

After few hundred yards, i see that car stopped at the side of the road. In the light of the headlights, there's a big spruce, fallen right over the road.

The next day, i see the man with the dog again. I tell him what happened and he says that the dog ran away, after they got to their home yard and came back about three hours later.

And Magnaillusion, is your house an old one, and if so, do you know if there is something about it's history? Anything in the local folklore, maybe?

Truly not. It was purchased like sixty two years ago, it once have been the home of my grandmother, but it have been reconstructed some months ago. I'm actually living here just to finish my studies.

yo dudes just browsing round the site and seen this........im a big fan of silent hill i love it to bits i was 12 when i started playing it.......it scared the hell out of me so it did and from there on in i cant get enough of it..........id say yous all agree.... anyway peace out dudes

This thread is good!!! If I have the time this vacation I could create a mini site for these stories...hehehe..anyway, here's my onw stories...

1) Well, there was a man that has the hairdo of Walther. He was coated with black and also black pants. I always see him around the way up the church, yeah beisde the church. He was freaky and the ifrst time I see him I remembered Silent Hill...he look slike a weirdo or some kind of terrorists or something...Then one day, I just saw the he was using an axe to cut woods...spooky...from his face I don't know if I would feel pity or spooky on him....

2) When I was a child, merely an infant I guess, my Mother told me that I was hunted by an "ASWANG". Aswang in our country is equivalent to goblins or human-mosnters, or witches...One nigth when my mother was making my milk, he saw the mosnters on the window and she screamed like a freak (not really). Then everybody was awaken and that aswang never showed up again.

ASWANG is popular here in the Philippines especially if you are in an isolated area or province.

Actually something happened to me recently, like 2 weeks ago or so. I was on the bus, and I took a sit, directly behind me was an old black man, and was looking at me strangely, almost like saying "Yeah, I'm talking to you!", but at the same time he had a gloomy expression. I didn't care of course but then he somehow disappeared when I was not looking; he didn't switch places because the bus was full and we didn't stop to let people go out. Right the day after that I took the same bus and there was an old woman, which in the moment I sat, she turned around abruptly and she shouted something like "Go to the church!!!"; even though she shouted, nobody noticed except me; then I noticed dust began to rise so I distracted just a moment, the moment I looked back, she was gone... This sounds like I'm going crazy, but I'm sure I saw those old persons at a time and then they somehow vanished.

Wow. That certainly sounds weird... So, did you go to the church? I think you should.

Nope, I didn't go to the church, I don't know why, but I've got this feeling; I think I shouldn't go there for a while.

Maybe she's talking to other persons not to oyu. If yes then why not go to church. Try this: Ghost can only be a ghost when you fear them.

Hey everyone im new here, just getting back into the silent hill and resident evil series again :]

I have one strange little occurence about a week ago, not really related to anything in silent hill though it was strange..

It was about 4am and I was with my girlfriend just lying in bed when I started to hear my phone vibrate really loudly which I left out in the loungeroom on a wooden table. I knew straight away it was my phone cause I know exactly what type of sound my phone makes. Anyway I let it ring out cause i couldnt be bothered getting it but it kept ringing and ringing for about 2 minutes which I thought was strange. I decided I better go check who it was in case it was important so I went out to get my phone only to see it had no missed calls, no messages, no nothing as if nothing had happened. Whether or not the phone stuffed up which I doubt it as it never has or it was just weird.. I asked my girlfriend and checked all our mobiles and not one of them had any messages or missed calls... For some reason I immediately got chills as soon as it started ringing
