In the beginning of the game Sectrete of Mana, you are supposed to get a girl. I followed no walkthroughs until I got sort of confused.

I did NOT get captured by goblins and get saved. That is when I should have got the girl.

I did NOT have the girl join my team at the castle either, she just ran out after yelling at the king, and when I went looking for her she was gone.

I've already gave the sword to the dwarves. I've got the spear, etc.

Where do I get the girl?
