I don´t remember exactly when it happened or what I was doing, but somewhere in one of the Empire towns (Northtown/Southtown), my sprite character disappeared, status bar gone, etc. Needless to say, I´m having a hell of a time progressing due to not having much in the way of offensive magic. Is this supposed to happen and I get Sprite back later or what? I´ve read a bunch of walkthroughs and they don´t seem to indicate that this is supposed to happen. I haven´t been able to find any reports of glitches or anything so I´ve found no help on the issue at all. Has anyone experienced this? Does anyone know how to get back a lost character or do I have to start a new game? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wow I have never heard of this and it hasn't happened to me you don't lose the sprite scriptedly there so my guess would be a glitch possibly you may have to start again. Do you have it on rom or on your snes? Also what part of the wuest are you doing and is the Sprites inventory still accessable


Hmmmm just looked on a forum site and read that someone had the same glitch but with the girl apparently she got snowballed in the sewers and as she recovered dissapeared status bar and all and reappeared behind the vamps in the cemetary but she is ment to be there and the sprite is not so maby he will not appear there possibly play through some of the game and see if he returns worth a try also could you tell me exactly how he dissapeared

Check this out. I was at the very end, battling the Mana Beast. In order to kill the Mana Beast you must charge the sword with Mana magic from the sprite and girl. Well I did that, but guess what happened. The dude was gone, sword and all!! The health bar was still there but he wasn't, I could'nt shift the control to him, I couldn't bring up the item's menu, he was just gone. Personaly, I think the Mana Beast ate him.
