Storyline |

In My opinion Secret Of Mana has the best storyline, it's unique and is not short, it is easily understandable and doesn't only have 1 path to follow, you can go anywhere after the first part.

I renkon the Storyline was very unique compared to many other RPG'S out there. This RPG was understandable unlike many other RPG's that may get you confused and it was also intresting which kept you wanting to play more and more.

I finished the game and...
it was the worst ending for a game in ages, even the cake in Mario 64 doesnt compare

I don't think that any of the sequels were really as good as Secret of Mana. That game was too original and unique.

The story line is one among the best... and that not just mi point of view along with the point of view of sum other folks around, that worlwide reckoned, the story line rules
Secret of Mana had a great story, Secret of Mana 2 was brilliant regarding storyline, Legend of Mana had the problem that the sotry was not entirely "set" but it was still quite good, the storyline is among the best ------------------- *Should everything else fails, read the instructions*

it especially nice when you played final fantasy adventure before it.
I found it very cool to found out that those two very directly connected (and that the recreation of the mana tree cause a very heavy continental drifting.. and the reapperance of santa clause.. cough.

Final Fantasy Adventure was actually the first Secret of Mana game. It was called Seiken Dietsen 1 (spelling?). Secret of Mana was 2, and Mana 2 was actually the third.

seikken densetsu, i guess.
the whole confusing affair is that SoM2 (SD3) was the prequel to SD2, which was the Sequel to Final Fantasy Adventure. But since the hero in SoM seems to be the child (but needn't to be) of the hero of final fantasy adventure, SoM 2 takes place before any of the other 2 games.

re: Storyline |

actually I think that Seiken Densetsu 3 wasn't related to the other two games in terms of people and having a continuous storyline. I figured it was just like a final fantasy game, where there really wasn't a true sequel to the game.

re: Storyline |
quote cheesemaster9I thought storyline-wise, FF Adventure took place after SoM. I suspected this, because Julius spoke of Emperor Vandole, and there was an Emperor Vandole in SoM, though you never actually fought him. -------------------
