Yes the game has a lot of violence, but think of it this way, if we take the violence out of this game, then the game is not playable, since there is nothing about it that is nice except a bit of violence!

its just the 'law' of video games... there's some really childish games and some really adult ones... and then there's the in-between

There is a need for such violence because it has got to the point where everyone is desensitized from everything; nothing shocks, nothing scares.
There need to be games to sate the bloodlust of gamers. The violence in this game, while gory as it is, is nothing. It is nothing compared to seeing a kid get run over, a guy get stabbed in the head by a bottle. The people need violence. -------------------

Here in england manhunt has been banned in most shops because some crazy teenager who was obcessed with manhunt killed his friend with a plastic bag an crowbar just because his friend had borrowed it and didnt give him it back... I think ppl shud realise ITS JUST A GAME, If this game influences peple to kill others they must already have something wrong inside their heads, well thats just my view

LOL, the more violence the better in my opinion. Look at SOF and POSTAL 2 omg that game is funny shit, not really gory but it still got banned in england for a while. I love gorey games but it doesnt mean im gonna go and kill someone, ITS VIRTUAL

I personally think violence in games is great. I think it's an awesome way for people to just let loose, and get some aggression out, with no fear of being arrested haha.
As for people who play the game such as in the case of the 17 y.o in london i believe who murdered a 14 y.o in the park with a spiked hammer and a knife. And said it was because he was obsessed with manhunt, don't be a fool and blame the game!! If you're kid is 17 and doesn't know the difference between hitting someone in a game with a hammer, and hitting someone in real life with a hammer, then they've got some servere mental issues. But violence is just something that makes games what they are today. The ability to hit things, crash things, stab, punch, break necks, etc.. and not get in trouble for it is great, because like i said before, it's excellent for releasing aggression. And like stated before, the level of violence may not be for everyone, and if that's the case. Just don't play it. But i personally enjoy manhunt a lot. I thought it was an excellent game. ------------------- ![]()

Why would you buy a game that says "A Brutal Blood Sport" on the back of the box if you didn't want a violent game?

quite frankly i didn't think the game was that "bloody" is u put it that way, its just the way the "violence" is put across, plus once u;v seen it 2 or 3 times its, same old same old, nufin special, nufin bad. Plus the graphics ain't all that great...... and the build up for the chainsaw... well the executions with that thing are below par, come on....
I believe that the game was desturbing more then "violent" soldier of fortune 2 was way more bloodly and stuff then that, hardly anyone complained about it, u know why? ... its a soldier type game so its for "the good of the world that u kill these people in horible ways, not jus fo pleasure or coz someones ordering u too", and "no stupid hick child tryed to immitate it".. You all need to grow up a little, it maybe be bad, but who cares?
