I just completed Marrymore, and Mallow says that now would be a good time to consult his grandfather. I went to Frogfucius at Tadpole Pond and talked to him, but all he says is something about "(snif) It will be quite lonely here with Mallow gone. Maybe a snack will cheer me up."

Did you get him the thing Mallow was trying to get for him in the beginning of the game.(I forget what it was)

Yea, go back to Mushroom Kingdom and talk to the guy in the Mart. He'll give you a pie, which you take back to Frogfucius.
