Do you think there will ever be a Super Mario RPG 2 or another RPG Mario game?

No word of anything, but a sequel to this game on the GC would be amazing. It was already great on the SNES, but imagine what the GC could do for the game.

Ummmm Paper Mario, the unofficial sequel to SMRPG was released long ago for N64 and Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga, the next Mario RPG, was released last month or something like that.

I didn't see Paper Mario as being a SM: RPG game at all.

That Luigi and Mario game looks like an RPG I think, but I mean an actual game called Super Mario RPG 2 that is along the same general idea.

well there won't be one. Nintendo was teamed up with Square on this game. They both seperated and won't create another one without them. Sad isn't it?

That does suck. They ruined this series as well as the Perfect Dark one. How many do they ahve to ruin before this stops?!?

It makes some sense, after all they were original characters made by Square. If they were owned by nintendo it'd be cool to see a super smash brothers cameo or even have one as a fighter... Chances are there will never be another one, well not one as goo anyway Paper Mario wasn't that bad but god... One can hope I suppose.

Yes, but like I said earlier it isn't going to happen... We will just have to settle with the crappy sequels like Paper Mario.

They have made sequels of a sort. Although Paper Mario was not impressive after this game, in fact I played Paper Mario first. The new Gameboy Advance Mario and Luigi game is an RPG too. Right? I just don't see it happening. It doesn't look like RPGs are the sort of thing Nintendo like to go for.

Although an RPG on the Gamecube would be cool. What would you want, all the same characters? Different plot and series? If it does happen for the Gamecube, my bet is a new series altogether for Mario.

Your right. Paper Mario is the first sequel and Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga(the one on GBA) is the latest sequel. A Mario RPG game would look really cool on gamecube.....

paper mario was a really good game but i didn't believe it should of been a sequel to the great SMRPG.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicals is coming on gamecube and it's a rpg... Made by the same people too...same company <_< Bah nothing to do with mario charcters though.... Theres bound to be more mario rpg's because He's nintendo's guinea pig.

I say we all write a letter saying that they better make a Super Mario RPG 2 before the year 2007!
