I really need about 10k. Is there a really good place to gold farm?

I get CoF runs.

I pull in about 2k-5k of profit each run.

Go to the Underworld man. I'm not sure what the price of Ectos are these days, but I'm sure it can't be all bad. If you have a good build specifically for farming the place (you can find some for basically every profession online) you can easily rake in about 10-15k every time you go down. Make sure you have inventory space. -o-

Ectos dropped down to 30 for 100k...so they're 3k each. It happened because of the Perma SF build used to farm the Chaos Planes. Anet nerfed SF to deal less damage, however players found ways around this nerf, so I expect the price of ectos to drop even further. Its still not a bad place to farm because of the demand for ectos, but there are more productive farming spots now. I don't really know of any, but I farm Glacial Stones. There are a lot of gold drops there, and unidentified golds sell for 5k per 7. So anyplace that you know of that has a lot of gold drops is a good farming spot.

I've never understood why that farm made ectos fall in price, they've always been so easy to farm i've been doing it for the past two years with various builds.

Most of which are faster than the old perma SF anyway, I don't think Smites have quite as high a drop rate but I can kill them all in about 10 minutes with my warrior, I understand the old SF build was 25 minutes to clear the Choas Planes? I might be wrong since i've never tried.

Also it seems selling golds has lost some value not long ago it was 7k for 5.

It's a real shame that they've gone down so much in price. I used to rake in so much cash off of numerous players at the cost of what? One platinum. Haha, it's pretty funny if you're the one getting the money off of them. It's basically like trading one platinum, for thirty platinum. Too bad the good days are over... ;-;.
