how do you do this i did it with 2 lvl 11's and 2 lvl 12's..and i still can't do it

you will have to be higher than that its very very hard the exp is worth a mission and its bonus so its gonna be one of the hardest missions in the game at the current level your at try leveling up and coming back to it later on you might level up so much that it seems easy

This is how to do it:

When you are at the place with alot of charr. RUN for your live get the ashes run back try to stay alive and run to the city. Dont have to kill them to do the mission. I didnt do it yet but my friend did it that way. One stays back the others distract them and the guy who stayed back runs for the ashes.

but Its no fun in running away from the char Its mroe fun when you take them all out when you do the quest you feel much prouder plus with all those i doubt he was able to run through it alone without healing because they would surround him and the mes charr would eat you alive without proper defence or healing

Well ok its much more fun when you kill them but you have to be realy strong i think.

im lvl 16 and i dont dare try that mission... still too hard i was thinking about going to the nearest place with 6 henc and bringing them down but never got around to it

I passed it. And my finals thought are this its not that hard if u have 2 healers.

I did it at level 16 or so with no problem, just think stratigically.

On another note, it gave me two when I complteted the mission, so I sold the ashes for 1k, I went to a seperate district and bought some for 200, 800 gp profit, I love my marketing skills ^-^.

I think the difficulty of this mission is grossly overrated. Go by way of the courthouse for starters, that way if you have died you will be able to get rid of any death penalties. I did it as a lvl 13 E/N with a dedicated monk, a warrior/monk, and an E/Me. Just don't go rushing into battle being foolish. Also, having crafted the armor from Ascalon City (if you're not further) with 30 armor will be helpful. Another note on the topic: don't fall for all the scams where people try to sell you "Althea's Ashes," they don't work.
