Great idea, I'll help you guys out. We can have armor charts, collector charts, skills, maps, build suggestions, combos what armor looks like, etc. I'm all for it.

I think for a weapons chart, we can have it like this:

Every single type of weapon, their damage ranges, their attack speed.

For each ctaegory of weapons we'll include all upgrade components that can be added and what they do.

I'm going to try and make a rune chart, just to let the public now. I got dibs on it^^

The portal is going to need constant updating though, seeing as prices can change nearly every week. By the time you finish getting info on price guides in, the prices could of already gone up or down.

Not only am I an expert at Rangers, I'm also an expert with Warriors. I could add in Warrior info and the like.

I greatly admire the idea of having a portal for GuildWars and would love to offer help.

I can do a full-blown FAQ for the forum, Here's what a few look like (The mods get me to do them for the GTA forums)

It could be an index similar to this one I made, where the first is Script Listings (obviously we wouldn't put that in the Guild Wars forum), an FAQ, then an index of important threads.

I think we should leave the old index and start a new one; the old one had a whole bunch of useless threads.

And you're going to submit the FAQ to the Portal too, right?

As far as what I can do for you guys, I'm thinking I can write some mission guides. For the harder quests, I can write some of those out myself as well (I lived in Sorrow's Furnace for a month, can write the quests/farming guides for that as well).

Sure, why not. I'll start making a few helpful threads for the time being using different websites (I'll credit them) for info. Like lists for Elite Skills (and where to find them) what armor looks like on characters (I was alway curious too), Gold Weapons, Maps, Etc. I guess I'll start now, I'm looking through the forum to make sure I'm not making doubles.

Unless they are official sources, you have to email the Site Admin and ask for permission to use their information. You can't just create it and them credit. For skill listings and such, I was planning on doing all the work manually; not cheat on my work by copy and pasting from another site.

LordMaChao, since you're doing Mission guides, can you try and include Maps that show good paths. It always makes it easier to understand

For Quest Guides, we'll need everyones help; there has to be hundreds. I actually figured to just create a new character and work my wayh up with Quests; plus, different professions get some quests just for them, so we'll need multiple people working on that to be successful.

EDIT: Well, we need a fourth staff member, so the rest of ya, fight over it like dogs (remember you can still contribute, even if you aren't a staff member)

Alright, great. As you might have seen I started up the elite skill thread, Seventh Blade had a great idea to pile up all the spells into one thread, so we'll probably try to get to that in a bit, I'll finish up the elite stuff first.

I've started taking a few screens for armor, actualy I only just took one, but I'm working on it. I think it was Warrior 15k Dragon Armor.

We can have a small section of the Portal for a fashion show XD

What would really be apprecitted these days are skill listings; I have quite a few, but not them all. For skill listings, try to include how the effectiveness changes for each attribute point in it from 1 to 12.

We need some good skill listings for:

Warrior

Mesmer

Monk

Elementalist

I'm doing Necromancer and DV is doing Ranger. If multiple people want to work on the same profession, chat with each other and plan acccordingly to who does what, because I don't want to get the same skill listings 10 times. Please PM if you want to do one, just so I know. Also PM it to me when you finish, and try to have it organized by both the attribute and alphabetical order. If not, we'll have to, and I really don't want to XP

PM them to me and I'll put them into the Skill thread.

My brother has a ascended Mesmer/Elementalist that I can list the skills on, he is far from getting them all but he has a good bit.

As for the armor, some people are just curious of what each looks like. It doesn't give you much of a preview on the little icons.
