59 second something. With Donkey Kong.

I think 57 second is possible. I have never done it but I think my friend had done something like that way back when.

Yeah using Bowser or Donkey Kong is the key here. You need to have boost in the beginning, too.

Something like that, I'm just thinking off the top of my head. I used Bowser I'm pretty sure...or maybe Mario. Anyway, I don't know how you can get 49 or 50, seems impossible to me.

Thats funny. lol 57 sec! there is now way that anyone is able of getting less than 59 seconds on that course, it is proven in a website that i saw once. it has all of the records posted from around the world with video proof. all of the guys who are on the website have no percentage of error, they are zipping along with only millimeters to spare on the inside of every turn

If you look up the most of the ranking websites, top times for 1st Race on Mushroom cup is under 1 minute.

I know this may sounds strange, but when I used to play this, my record time for track one was 52'76"

We used to tape the game to prove these times, with many of my mates pulling in 53 and 54 second times.

Definately possible and I still have my snes up and running and ready to race

My fastest time was 1 minute exactly. It's actually not that bad.
