Hi. On Grandia II, what new items have you guys found when starting a second game? I will be getting it delivered to me for my Playstation 2 in the mail soon. Even though I have played it before, I still wanted to get it, and I have never started a second game on it. So, what new items do you guys remember getting?

On a side note, I was also wanting to know something else from you guys(no offence to the ladies on this discussion board for me continually using the guys statement). What I wanted to know was also if you all, after playing games, have ever thought of coming up with game ideas yourselves, because I know I have. I even have a few statistics on paper, though I haven't been able to draw any yet. A friend of mine and me have been making some game ideas together and contacted some game publishers, and they seemed to even like our brief descriptions. So, have any of you thought of doing something like that?

Mainly I remember getting more items from doing the sub games over and over. The Book of War, for example, which you get from collecting the nuts at Mareg's village.
Also the Dragon Egg in The Birthplace of the Gods, which I missed first time round.

To your sidenote, I've thought about many ideas for games, though most were subsequently then thought of by other people. But I'm more of a concept artist, anyway.

On a further sidenote, your name looks much like mine...

Requiem, I wasn't really talking about those two secret items; I was mainly talking about the items that are supposed to appear during a person's second time through the game.

Oh, and on the subject of the name I picked, you can tell why I picked it if you spell the ENTIRE name backwards. Spelling it backwards tells you one of the things I frequently do with my creations. In fact, some of my creations I made by doing this to creatures from other games. An example of this would be the five WEAPON's from Final Fantasy VII. Another example of this would be all of the MAIN BOSSES from "Zelda: Ocarina of Time" and "Zelda: Majora's Mask".

I'm also starting to wonder why no one else has answered my question.

Requiem, is it just me or does it seem like your the only one who has even responded to my questions thus far?

hey, I was wondering what the weapons mean when they have spells such as [Burn!] or [DragonZap!] on them. What does this mean? Can you somehow [Cure!] one ally? If someone knows, please tell me. If no one knows, okay.
