Which boss are you talking about? Generally a good strategy (for me at least) is to use up your multi enemy attack moves like Millenia's Fallen Wings move early on, because you're doing more damage as a whole. Then once you've used up all your magic points on multi-attack moves focus solely on one enemy piece at a time. Like I just beat the Claws of Valmar the other day, I focused on one claw, then the next claw, then went for the toughest center part.

Millenia's Fallen Wings makes my game lock up :S
I just did get Millenia and moving inside that Cave..
Wanted to use it to kill 4 snakes and see it for the first time..
But when she should cast it... screen goes black and u see her... but then nothing happens anymore.
Hmm i go buy a Gamecube
